It was a real cold night and she was walking into the apartment building, just getting home with a bag of leftovers from her job. The tip of her nose was red and her cheeks almost frozen from the low temperature outside.

Amaya wished for summer already, but she also hated the season for it's hot weather. She stepped into the elevator, bouncing in place as the warm air started tingling her skin. "Why does this elevator have to be so slow!" she mumbled to herself, watching the numbers slowly go up until she reached her floor.

She walked out and quickly made it down the hall to her apartment. Amaya went through her purse to get her keys, only to realize that she had left them inside and locked the door. "Wow..only I do this type of shit..!" she said in disbelief, looking at her phone and realizing that it was already too late to call the landlord.

Saemi and Seiko were twenty minutes away and if she didn't have her house keys, she didn't have her car keys. Amaya turned around at the door behind her, scared to even knock out of embarrassment. "I'll just walk." she said, coming to the decision of sparing her embarrassment.

While she turned around, his door opened.

"Amaya?"

She turned back around, meeting eyes with one she didn't except to see. "Atsumu? What are you doing here?" Amaya chuckled, walking towards him as he pointed inside Sakusa's apartment. "We came and barged in. I was bored and was looking through the little peep hole."

"Such an Atsumu thing to do." Amaya smiled, glancing at him as the blonde looked over to her door. "Are you going somewhere?" Atsumu asked her. "Depends, I left my keys inside again so I was just going to go to my—"

"Oh just stay here!" Atsumu then brought her inside Sakusa's place, catching her off guard while her eyes averted to the two men sitting on the couch. "You know what, i'll walk right back out and walk to Saemi's place." Amaya then turned on her heel but Atsumu stopped her.

"She left her keys inside her place."

"Again?"

All their heads turned to Sakusa who spoke, she glanced at him, noticing his state. "Yes again! I'm very forgetful when I wake up late!" Amaya said, looking right at Sakusa. "I can tell."

"Okay but Atsumu I don't want to be here with your brother!" Amaya then whispered to Atsumu, making him let out a laugh as Osamu rolled his eyes. "Osamu, leave. You're spiritually hurting the poor girl." Atsumu said as Amaya held back a laugh. "Oh please." Osamu mumbled.

Sakusa only watched them start to go back and forth, sighing as Amaya glanced at him. He made his way to the twins and slowly guided them out his apartment. He heard her chuckle, turning back and seeing her smile. "I'm sorry, I should get going too—" Amaya made a few steps forward but was stopped by the hold of his hand.

"It's fine, you can stay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, i'm sure." Sakusa looked into her eyes with genuine contact, a small grin on his face as she slowly made her way to the couch. "Sooo what were they doing here?" Amaya asked out of curiosity. "I'm going to be honest, Atsumu just followed me back here and dragged Osamu with him."

"Sounds like him."

Amaya looked around and saw his open windows, immediately getting up from the couch and walking towards the open area. "Your view is so much better than mine!" she said, making him turn around as he walked to her.

There was still snow set on the ground, just enough to walk on. Once she touched the glass, she immediately felt the coldness from the weather behind it. Sakusa watched her eyes roam around the unfamiliar side of the apartment building, seeing that she was interested in looking outside more than anything else.

"Have you still thought about Christmas?" Sakusa asked her, taking her attention away from outside and averting her gaze to him. "Not really, I don't know what to do. Why?" Amaya responded back. "My offer still stands." he smiled.

"Cause you love me." Amaya joked, laughing while he ruffled her hair. "I do not." Sakusa laughed with her while she rolled her eyes, Amaya turned back to the window, sitting on the empty chair beside it while he kept his eyes on her.

Sakusa looked down to the floor and noticed her shoes, the ones she had showed him the other day. "You wore your shoes to work?" he said, Amaya was surprised he even remembered about her shoes. "Oh uhm no! This guys asked me on a date right after work.."

"You don't sound so happy about it, did something happen?"

"No, he just wasn't my type."

"And who is?"

"You, duh."

Sakusa rolled his eyes once more while she laughed at his reaction. "You're way too flirty, at this point you should just date Atsumu." he said, looking away from her. "I could never. I don't even see him like that, even during high school." Amaya chuckled, twirling the ends of her hair around her fingers.

"You guys were friends in high school?" he questioned, leaning against the window as she nodded her head. "Yeah, his dumbass actually set me up with the senior! He said I was a junior instead cause I "looked older!" Amaya said in disbelief, stilling finding it hard to believe that Atsumu would set her up like that.

"Of course he would. You didn't even look older in high school." Sakusa said with no hesitation, not seeing the look on her face until he realized she was quiet. "You knew how I looked like in high school? And here I thought you didn't love me."

"Only because you were friends with that guy with the tiger striped underwear and the fact that you had like perfect grades too."

"I feel special."

"You aren't."

"Hater."

"You're number one hater."
