𝖼𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝗍𝗐𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗒 𝖿𝗈𝗎𝗋 ⋯ ♡ᵎ

She was walking out of her apartment and so was he.

Amaya turned back and gave Sakusa a smile before stopping in front of him. She was covered in layers of coats, the beige fur outlining her hood made her face stick out more. "Where are you going?" he asked her, having his hands in his pockets as she noticed his clothing, it seemed like he was just going to a jog in the cold.

"I'm going to take a walk! It's not that cold outside." Amaya said, smiling as he rolled his eyes. "Yet you're wearing such a huge jacket." Sakusa nodded his head towards her coat while she laughed. "Okay? I get cold easily!" Amaya gave him a fake glare.

"How about we walk together?" she suggested to him. "I'm going for a run, Yoshioka." Sakusa chuckled. "I'll catch up with you! Don't underestimate me! I was on the track team before I quit." Amaya said as they both started to walk to the elevator.

"Why'd you quit?"

"Too tiring.."

Sakusa laughed at her words, earning a light punch to the arm and looking into Amaya's eyes while she pressed the down button. "Don't make fun of me! I was a lazy teenager, still am.." she mumbled, holding her mittens between her arm and side while the elevator doors opened.

It was quiet for the ride down, both standing at opposite sides of each other. Amaya took her time to look around the inside of the elevator as if she hasn't been in there a million times, trying to take up time while Sakusa was unconsciously staring at her hands. He how roughed up they looked.

Once the doors opened, he stepped out first while she followed after him. She was serious about that walk and it made him smile. Sakusa turned his head back to see her steps behind him, Amaya immediately put on her mittens to save her hands from the coldness just waiting to bite her. He waited until she was done to keep walking.

Amaya walked next to Sakusa, following his lead while he kept glancing at her and making sure she was right behind him. Amaya noticed the small action and chuckled, wrapping her arm around his. She expected him to push her away, but he didn't move one bit.

Though it was quiet, their silence was comfortable to the both of them.

Amaya smiled lightly as the sun shone on her face, the skin on her cheeks turned red from the cold while his stayed the same. Sakusa was just too used to the cold to turn red. She felt him move, only to realize he pulled her closer to him.

It was December 23, just two days before Christmas and one day before Christmas Eve. The snow was still set on the grass, but not on the sidewalk or roads, making it a clear path for them to walk on. It was sunny yet chilly, there was no breeze for them to get even colder.

Sakusa had led her to the lake he usually runs around and she immediately got distracted by the large body of water. Amaya's eyes were set on the half frozen lake, seeing a few birds fly over before taking a rest on the bare branches. Though it was winter, she noticed the small fragile flowers planted between the grass before looking away.

But she couldn't help and pull away from his arm.

Amaya walked herself to the small pretty flower, tugging on it before walking back to a confused Sakusa. She went on her tippy toes and placed the flower between his curls. He could only see the smile on her lips as he wondered what she just did.

"Pretty things go with pretty people." Amaya said, making Sakusa clear his throat while looking away. She laughed at his flustered state before wrapping her arm around his once more.

This time she lead him down the path and he followed after her.

Sakusa took a look at the side of her face, seeing how the tip of her nose was starting to turn red and how her eyes turned a lighter brown in the sun. He was definitely starting to feel something for her, but he just couldn't bring himself to face ir or admit it.
