The days of the Dreamscape had long passed until it felt like a distant memory.
Kaeya tentatively trudged towards large tree at Windrise where he noticed two other figures.
A mysterious lady in an exquisite outfit stood below it, talking to Barbara.
The cavalry captain watched them in confusion and kept his distance.
Kaeya: *turns away muttering* Now where is Ms. Lumine?
The lady seemed to have caught sight of Kaeya and narrowed her eyes.
Lady: Hey child, do you know who that is?
Barbara: *turns around and squints* Oh! That looks like the cavalry captain! What was his name again? Oh right! Mr Kaeya!
Kaeya stopped in his tracks, quite alarmed.
Lady: Hmm... he looks suspicious. What business does he have here?
Barbara: Well let's go ask him! Don't worry, he may not seem like it but Jean trusts him. Mr Kaeya! *Waves*
Kaeya: *finally turns around* Hello, Sister Barbara and...
Lady: Lady Ningguang.
Kaeya: Oh uh... *shifts nervously* Kaeya, Knight of Favonius. A pleasure to meet you.
Ningguang nodded briskly.
Barbara: What brings you here, sir?
Kaeya: Me? I'm just waiting for someone
Barbara: Ooh so are we! *looks around* I wonder where Lumine is...
Kaeya: Oh what a coincidence, I am waiting for Lumine too *confused blink*
Ningguang: Hmm... Did she happen to give you any reason to meet here?
Kaeya: No... She usually doesn't... *shrugs* but I find it more interesting that way
Ningguang examined Kaeya as if trying to figure out whether he was a threat or not.
Lumine: Sorry for the wait, everyone!
Kaeya: *relieved* Ah, Ms Lumine!
Barbara: Lumine!
Lumine: I've made you all homemade cookies!
Lumine passed a bag of cookies each to everyone.
Ningguang: I will take it gratefully.
Barbara: *gasp* You really didn't have to
Kaeya: For me? Thank you ~
Lumine: *ahem* You're all probably wondering why you're here... Well you see *Dramatic pause* Anyone who is standing under this tree at this very moment -- are now officially been nominated as part of my travel team! Congratulations!
Paimon appeared and broke into an applause.
Kaeya: *slightly surprised* Well, I'd be honoured *bows*
Barbara: I won't let you down!
Ningguang: Looking forward to working with you all
