I sat in the cage like a monkey and boy was I hungry. This isn't fair, it was just a harmless prank, why are they taking it to heart. From the bars of my cage,, i could see that a man was talking to him. I could only see the man's apparel but I could not see the Duke at all. These stupid guards kept blocking the view. Soon I grew apprehensive as I heard footsteps approaching and then, the guards began to move to the side of the cage. The ray of light that threatened to blind me made me wish they came back to where they stood. I put my hand over my eyes to shield it from the sun and that was when I saw the towering shadow of a man. I couldn't see the face yet because of the light, my eyes needed to adjust to it but, I could see that he was tall. Very tall.Another man, apparently the man I had seen stood beside him.
"you must be the brat who poisoned my horses with Dorim." I stared at the two men with feigned sadness and innocence. "How could I possibly my lord. I would be asking for a death wish." "she is a liar and an actress" I heard him say. That was off course true.
"take her to the palace". He told his guards. "this is definitely worse than I thought. This is bad".
