Today I stand,

Here where all of us say goodbye to the good times we had,
Goodbyes to all the laughs we shared
Goodbye to all the secrets we treasured
Goodbye to all the tears we cried
Goodbye to all the quarrels we had
Goodbye to all those memories we created
But, we stand side by side to say a new hello to the new times we will have
New laughs we will share
New secrets we will treasure
New tears we will cry
New quarrels we will have
New memories we will create.
Today, I sit my friend,
Holding your hands,
Looking in your eye,
Touching your heart,
I say, "Thank you for being there for me. Don't cry those tears today because, they don't mean much. All they mean is a final goodbye of not seeing you again."
We will meet again,
We will create new memories and smile at the old ones.
Today, all I ask of you is
To smile and remember this day
A day not of our separation,
But, the day of a new bond.
A bond that will strengthen our hearts
And salute our achievements.
