(Back to present time)
"Let's talk"
Vee lifted his eyes off of his computer to find a frowning kla looking back at him,
"I already told mark that I need to talk to you, he's told you to take the day off too"
Before vee could oppose kla walked of, slowing a little to see whether vee had followed him or not,
"What do you want to talk about?"
They were in a café a few blocks away from W.R.
The café was relatively empty considering that most people would probably be in school or at work right now,
"how much do you know?"
"about what?"
"About me and P'no?"
"all of what ai'no is comfortable with me knowing"
"I see"
A smile closer to grimace formed on kla's lips as he hesitantly sipped on his espresso thinking of what to say next,
"you're a really nice guy you know that?, ....
I'm happy he moved on.....he's got someone better on his side"
"what do you mean?"
"aren't you and p'no dating?"
"WHAT..no we're just friends"
"besides I have someone else that I lo-like"
"wait..so that means I can reconcile with p'no again?"
"I don't know, it's for him to decide"
"by the way, this person you really love them don't you?"
Vee looks down, "he's not mine to love"
"but you still do?"
The more she ever will is left unsaid
Kla breaks the silence again
"'you love mark don't you?"
Vee looked up shocked,
"how did you know?"
"oh darling, everybody sees the way you look at him, it's hard to not notice that look in your eyes"
"does he know?"
"...yeah...."
Vee just sat there still in shock over the fact that mark knew he liked him,
"honestly he's just being an idiot, you're a great guy anyone would be lucky to have you like them, he doesn't even like ink I don't know why he thought it would be a good idea to marry her...no offence I know you love her like a sister.."
Kla sighed,
This was no way to reveal that mark knew about vee's unrequited love,
"I'll drop you home, we'll talk again once the shock is over, I'll give excuses to mark for you if you want to take any more days off."
Vee said nothing on the way back, just playing with his fingers,
He muttered a small thank you when they arrived and left without turning back even once.
