Vee didn't show up for work for the next few days,

Kla messaged mark that vee wasn't feeling well and might take a few days off, but that didn't lessen his worries,

Vee had never left mark's side for longer than what was necessary,

Him willingly taking days off like this meant something really serious,

The worry was eating mark alive from the inside,

He kept glancing at the clock until break time,

He rushed out of the building into his car and drove towards vee's place,

He is welcomed by a very pale looking vee at the door,

Who after seeing mark attempts to shut the door closed at his face,

But mark had acted before he could think,

He got a hold of the door and pushed it open and entered,

Vee was looking so sickly and pale that it hurt mark's heart to see him in that state,

"what happened?"

He asked his voice not above a whisper,

"you knew.."

The betrayal coud easily be identified between vee's rasped response,

Somehow mark knew exactly what vee was talking about,

He lowered his head in shame not knowing how to reply,

A sniff , and then another,

Vee was crying he realised because of him,

He was in this state because of his ignorant attitude towards vee's feelings,

His heart was squeezing in his chest,

He was hurting vee and now he was hurting because of the pain he caused vee,

He rushed towards vee and engulfed him in a hug,

Vee struggled to get out of the embrace but gave up a while later when he got tired of struggling,

"I'm sorry..i'm sorry...I'm sorry"

Mark kept murmuring apologies,

Until vee fell asleep,

Mark carried him to his bed and coddled him until sleep overcame him too,

The next morning vee's peaceful sleeping face was the sight mark awoke too,

'I want to wake up to this sight everyday' he thought

His eyes traveled over every nook and cranny of vee's face,

Memorizing every detail as if he was poem written by Shakespeare,

Admiring his sleeping figure as though he were a painting by Leonardo da Vinci,

Slowly vee's eyelashes fluttered open,

"good morning...?"

Mark said to lower the sound of his beating heart which he was sure vee could he hear,

After an mm as a reply vee made moves of getting up,

But mark stopped him,

"you should rest"

Vee tried to protest,

"I've put you in this state and I'll pull you out of it"

Vee flopped back into bed, too tired to put up a fight,

Mark got and prepared breakfast for vee making sure he finished all of it before starting to clean up the condo that vee lived,

It wasn't that big but contained enough space,

It had 2 bedrooms and 1 kitchen and a living room,

Both the rooms have an attached bathroom,

And a separate closet,

After cleaning up the whole condo mark makes his way back to vee's to find him in peaceful slumber,

He moves to sit next to vee's sleeping figure,

"I'm sorry, I've hurt you so much, I just didn't know how to handle these feelings, I love you Vee.."

"I know it doesn't give me any right to be an asshole, but I kept thinking that I don't deserve you"

"you deserve someone so much better, someone who doesn't have the history of sleeping around, someone who wont disregard you"

Mark made lunch for vee and left it on the dining table telling to eat it all and left for his own home,

When he comes out of the shower he sees a notification from vee,

Vee: You don't get to decide who or what I deserve

Mark stays shocked for a while, this meant he heard everything mark had said,

He wasn't sleeping, he heard mark admit his feelings
