ERIC KNOX HAD PUSHED his sister and adoptive one through the portal in their basement before following them. Ezra landed on top of Sawyer with a thud, making the unofficial princess groan in pain, "Christ almighty." The boy laughed at them, causing Sawyer to roll her eyes at him. He too had received constant letters from Rosalind about returning to help. He was a year older than her and had graduated before her.

"You're a fucking--" Ezra started, pushing herself off of Sawyer and walking after her brother, who strode forward quickly towards the entrance of the school. Sawyer sighed at them, getting up and running after them.

They made their way to the Specialist Hall, dropping Ezra off at the Fairy Hall. "Apparently, the uniforms for the Specialists are different now," Eric spoke, adjusting the headband he was wearing. "Remember those green sweater-looking ones... "

"Yes, I remember. I was there," Sawyer said matter-of-factly, shaking her head as they made the turn into the Specialist Headmaster's office. The door was open so they walked in, coming face to face with Rosalind Hale and Andreas of Eraklyon, having a somewhat heated conversation based on how they were gradually approaching each other with hands raised. "Knox 1 and 2 reporting for duty."

Eric grimaced at her.

The two heads drew apart, Rosalind briefly nodding at Sawyer in passing as she left the office. "It's good to see you both," Andreas nodded at them, that obnoxiously noble aura to him that Sawyer remembered from Silva's descriptions of the man. He was an apparent war hero, but all the two of them grew up with were stories of just how blindly loyal he was to orders.

Their dads had made a joke about it once, something about if he was ordered to shove a tree up his arse, he'd probably do it. Eric had laughed while Sawyer covered Ezra's ears.

Sawyer had zoned out, leaving Eric to do most of the talking, and soon enough, uniforms were placed in their arms. "Sawyer." Andreas called just as they stepped out the door to leave. "I'd like you to assist me in overseeing the Specialists training in five minutes."

"What about--" Sawyer gestured to Eric with her thumb, but Andreas cut her off before she could finish her question.

"He's on the midday session," Andreas stated bluntly, and Sawyer resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Just the sound of his voice made her want to drop everything and ram her sword up his ass.

Sawyer went and got changed, grimacing at how the uniform looked. It wasn't too bad. The hoods would be a problem. She walked out into the training area with Andreas, watching a group of Specialists fight on one of the platforms.
