FLORA CRACKED OPEN the second bottle of champagne, the cork bouncing off of the ceiling and bonking Sawyer on the head. She nearly dropped the whole bottle out of surprise, but thankfully, for both her and the room, she didn't. The Earth Fairy set it down on one of the drawers before jumping onto the bed beside Sawyer, "I am so sorry, oh my God!" She cradled the girl's head, hugging her.

"I'm fine, flower girl, just morally bruised," Sawyer leaned into her, looking up at Flora with a feigned pained smile. Flora hugged her tightly.

"Shut up, dork," Flora murmured, letting her go. She got up to pour some more champagne. "What did you wanna talk about?" Her back was to Sawyer, who was looking at her softly and nervously.

Sawyer pushed herself up and sat against the headboard, accepting the glass from Flora. "Uh... Nothing really. Honestly, it's probably stupid." She took a sip, avoiding Flora's eyes. "Apparently, Ezra's crying in her dorm room because of Aisha."

"What? Why?" Flora straightened, noting Sawyer's hesitation before changing the topic.

"She likes her," Sawyer said. "And Aisha likes her too, but is so incredibly bisexual at this point that it's messing with her brain. Eric told her about Grey and here we are." She half-heartedly threw her arms up, taking another big sip of the glass of champagne.

Flora smiled warmly, "That's tragic. Kind of like the two of us."

Sawyer shrugged, "Cheers to that."

"I was being serious, for once," Flora swished the champagne around in her glass. Now, she was the one avoiding Sawyer's gaze. A tense and awkward atmosphere settled in the room and both of them felt like they were suffocating. "I really regret leaving."

"And I regret hating you for three out of the five years you were gone," Sawyer stood up, sitting at the foot of her bed whilst Flora sat on the chest at the foot of Eric's bed. "I knew that it wasn't in your control, but I hated you anyway."

Flora finally looked at her whilst she took another sip of champagne. "I'm sorry, Flora," Sawyer said, so quietly that Flora didn't catch it at first. "I, uh... I really.... " Flora moved closer, standing now.

"Breathe," Flora put her hand on her shoulder.

"I can't breathe properly whenever you're around," Sawyer shot back, and Flora pinched her shoulder. "Sorry." The Earth Fairy tilted Sawyer's head up to face her with her finger, and from there, it was game over. "I still really like you. It's physically impossible to not absolutely adore you."

Flora bit the inside of her cheek, stifling the wide smile that threatened to emerge. She held her chin with her thumb and her finger, leaning down. Sawyer's eyes widened and if she couldn't breathe before, then she definitely couldn't now. "I haven't stopped adoring you. You're fucking amazing."

Heat bloomed on Sawyer's cheeks, a light red hue on her face. Flora's thumb swiped across Sawyer's bottom lip, wiping off remnants of champagne, "Your ears are really red. Too gay?"

Before Sawyer could fire back a response, Eric walked in, two more bottles of champagne in hand, "I see you two have gotten cozy, but I'd really love a drink with my friends right about now. We've got morning training tomorrow."

Sawyer groaned, head resting against Flora's stomach. Flora patted her head, downing the rest of her champagne before raising her glass again, "Let's do it!"
