Mashiho's POV

There she were at the hallway, talking with her friends. Thank God for blessing me to see her in the morning. Just look how cute she is, her smile is the most precious thing I could I ever think off. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder causing me to change the direction of my gaze to the one that touch my shoulder, Haruto.

Haruto: Damn bro chill down with the heart eyes I can feel it from outside the school.

Mashiho: Shut up I don't have heart eyes

Haruto: Why don't you just confess? I mean look at you so lovestruck

Mashiho: Nah this is enough admiring her is enough for me.

Haruto shrugged 'Whatever you says, don't regret it when another guy take her,'

Mashiho just stared at him. He hated the thought but he had enough of when the girls he like actually like Haruto instead there were also cases where his ex girlfriend couple with him just to be close with Haruto.

In class

I were sitting at my sit, the lecture from the goes in my ears then out but I'm fine with it. Not bragging but I am the top student.

Anyway I were distracted by glancing at Yn every so often. Her pout while focusing, her cute habit when concentrating where she would hold her pen trying to swing it around her fingers.

Suddenly something what the teacher says caught my attention.

Teacher: Do your project in a pair. No you cannot pick your partner cause I will.
Yn and Mashiho

My mind were blank, I were happy and nervous. Girls don't really approach me because I cannot really talk well and I cannot smile easily so to them I look scary.

Yn's POV

'Yn and Mashiho'

When I heard that name I were excited cause well he is my crush after all!(Yn is a cheerful girl so I'm trying my best to like not to make her sound dry)

I went to him and sit down next to him. I know some girls are scared of her but I noticed how he were kind to me. He help me to carried the teacher stuff, he complimented me in a cool way when I wear a different hair clip(Yn always wear a pink hair clips but that day she wore a blue and pink hair clip).

We did our project together and it was nice, his gentle voice soothe my mind.

*Only if Yn knew how much is Mashiho panicking*

Mashiho's POV

Oh my god, we're sitting next to each other she so close to close

Am I making her uncomfortable

Is she fine with having me as her partners

Oh my god she so cute look at her

I hope she doesn't notice my face heating up

*Ehem ehem the teacher are smirking at them knowing what's going on*

Time skip

School end

I were waiting where the parents pick the students up. I usually go home by car but I decided to walk after knowing Yn goes home late.

I look at her sitting down alone, swinging her feets off the ground. Sigh she so damn cute. Suddenly I could feel my phone buzzed and I looked at it. It was a message from my mom

THE TEXT MESSAGES

Mom: Mashi you gotta go home early today since your uncle's is coming back from states

Mashiho: Alright mom

I look at Yn for the last time maybe for around 2-3 minutes secretly of course then went home.

I walked home, waited for my uncle and celebrate his arrival.

Then the next day came and the student were noisy they were gossips everywhere.

Suddenly Haruto ran at me.

Mashiho: Yo chill what's wrong?

I asked since his expression were terrified.

Haruto: Did you not hear the news?

Mashiho: What news?

Haruto: It's about Yn and whatever you might hear I want you to calm down

I nodded waiting for him to tell me

Haruto: Yn got kidnapped yesterday and the next thing they find her she were dead.

I couldn't believe my ears. I felt like he were lying, I feel like this were a prank they plan for me.

Mashiho: Whatever prank this is you better drop it off

Haruto were only silence. 

Mashiho: Are you serious?

I could hear my voice cracking, my tears in my eyes trying not to fall off.
He nodded and that's where I heard my heart breaks pieces to pieces.

If only I insisted going home late

If only I wait for her to go home

If only I talk with her

Suddenly there were parents enter the school, it was Yn's parents. Strangely they went to me. I could see their face  they were sad I could see the painful expression on their face.

Yn's mother: Are you Mashiho?

Mashiho: Yeah that's me.

Yn's mother: Do you mind to come with us?

I nodded and follow their lead. They brought me to their car and let me sit inside the car. All of us we're sitting at the back seat of the car.

Yn's mother: I'm sure you heard the news

Mashiho: I did, I'm sorry for your lost

Yn's mother: Before she died actually the kidnapper, he is a psychopath and let her call us. She said that--

Her voice cracked and the tears dripping down her cheeks. Her husband decided to help her to finish the sentence.

Yn's dad: She said that she love us she were thankful to have everyone in her life and she mentioned your name especially because of you her life brighten up. She said that she like you and she wanted to say thank you. We have the recording thankfully saved by the police we will send it to you.

I couldn't hold in the tears anymore and I burst into tears. I sobbed so hard the parents hug me crying together. We all could feel each other's pain
