"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!" Kae exclaimed as she hurriedly rushed to your side, helping you to stand up.
Earlier, you suddenly collapsed your way downstairs─── emitting a loud 'thud' that caused Kae to go where you were.
And she saw you laying on the floor, trying hard to stand up─── Kae held your back and lifted you up to stand.
She quickly laid you down on your bed at your room and placed a wet towel onto your forehead to ease your high fever.
Kae mumbled with worry, "You're heating up... Kocho-sama isn't available for the week since she's out of town for a mission," she sighed and glanced down at your weak state that made her knit her eyebrows in worry.
Y/n... Can you still handle the pain?
Your breathing was ragged, your face was red and you were sweating so hard─── Kae couldn't believe what was happening.
"K-Ka─── Kae.. san.... I-I won't... Die─── rig...ht?.." You weakly stated causing for your caretaker to gasp at your statement.
She quickly held your hand, "Do-Don't you say something like that!!! You-You'll live!" Kae cried out and held your hand firmly; trembling of the thought of losing you.
You chuckled softly, "Rea...lly?" you smiled before closing your eyes slowly that made Kae worry much more than before.
"Y-Y/N!!! HEY!! W-WAKE UP!!!!" She exclaimed and gasped when you kept on closing your eyes and soon, everything was black.

Kae was bothered since you weren't still waking up the past few hours─── it's already afternoon and she can't help but worry about you.
She always check your breathing every second to ensure that you were still fine; pacing back and forth, she held her forehead by her palm due to the stress she's currently feeling.
She glanced at your sleeping figure and sighed─── it's when she heard a knock on the door that made her perk up.
Who could that be?
She went to open the door to see a man with raven hair and dark blue colored eyes, Kae wondered who is he and what was he doing here.
Kae asked, "Uhm, who are you? How may I help you with?" The man replied, "Is Y/N here?" Kae tensed up when she heard your name being pronounced.
Y/N never had any friends─── could this man be a demon in disguise..?
Kae glared at the man and replied, "I don't know any Y/N around here─── go away." The man stared at the older woman in confusion─── this is your house, and he bet that this is your caretaker you were talking about.
He replied, "Oh, really? I'm her friend and I know you're suspicious about me but please give this flowers to her." He gave the flowers to the woman as she blinked in confusion.
Kae asked, "Are you really her friend?" Giyuu replied, "Yes, I'm Giyuu Tomioka."
Kae hummed suspiciously, "Then... What's her favorite sweets?" The man lowly chuckled and replied, "Mochi."
Kae sighed in relief, "So you're really a friend of hers─── I'm sorry for acting that way just now,"
Giyuu replied, "It's really fine, but Y/N is really here isn't she?" Kae nodded and gestured for the man to come inside the house.
She spoke while Giyuu followed her, "Yes, Y/N is here but─── she's not feeling good right now..." Giyuu was worried about you as he sighed lowly.

Kae lead Giyuu to a room that he assumes was your own room, your caretaker spoke, "Y/N is in this room, I'll be out for a moment to buy her some foods, please take care of her."
Giyuu proceeds to enter your room as he stared on your bothered face that made him worry, he zoned out for a moment when you let out a soft sob that made him perk up.
His eyes widened when he saw you crying; never ending tears kept falling from your closed eyes with your eyebrows furrowing.
"Help..."
He was flabbergasted─── he rushed to your side and checked your temperature, you were extremely heating up.
He soon saw your eyes fluttering open and you soon glanced at him, calling his name out, "Tomioka?..." He held your hand tightly but not too much to hurt you.
"Stay awake─── I'll go get water for you." He hurriedly stood up and rushed to the kitchen, he poured water into a cup then headed upstairs.
He saw you fighting the urge to sleep as he sighed in relief that you were fine and fighting, he settled down the cup of water and gestured for you to drink it.
You gulped down the contents, "Thank you, Tomioka─── why are you here by the way?" He replied, "I went here to visit you but ended up getting the news that you're sick."
"Did you already?───"
"Yes. I already met your caretaker, I see that she's very careful around people and is overprotective." You chuckled at his statement, he mentally smiled on the fact that he made you chuckle.
"Where did she go?" You asked with a smile plastered on your beautiful face as he replied, "Ah, she said she'll buy you food." You hummed in response.
"Oh!─── by the way, did Kocho-sama already arrived?" You asked as he shook his head, indicating that Shinobu didn't came back yet.
"I see... My weekly checkup has been delayed─── but I'm not complaining though, others' lives are more important than mine." He frowned at your statement that didn't go unnoticed by you.
You explained, "N-No! I'm not mad or sad or anything!! It's just the truth─── I'm just here at house chilling around, not helping or not killing those man-eating creatures... And I have an illness that would possibly not be able to heal───"
Giyuu cutted you off, "You have a..─── a what...? An illness?" You perked up and mentally slapped yourself when you realized you still haven't told him about your illness yet.
You apologized, "Ah! I'm sorry─── I still haven't explained or told you that yet, huh..." You rubbed the back of your neck in embarrassment as you took a deep breath─── ready to explain.
