"I think we should get back together," Brett said my eyes went wide.
"Uhm...why?" I ask.
"Why not? I thought you love me" he said as he walked toward me.
"I can't," I told him having a tear run down my face.
He scoffs "are you still mad about it"?
"No"
"Yes, you are! I can see it in your face!"
"You never said you were sorry" Brett cheated on me I mean I know that he didn't cheat on me, but that's still cheating. He let some girl sit on his lap for a 'photo' and he let her sit there for 10 minutes.
"I said I was sorry"
I laughed "on text!" I yelled at him.
"You want it? Fine. I'm sorry. It didn't mean anything!"
"You broke me!" I couldn't hold my tears in as I push him back. "I wanted to die because of you!"
"I'm sorry" is all he could say.
"That's all you can say is sorry? That's not enough Brett!" I said choking on my saliva.
I pushed him again and again "fight back! I hate you! You ruined me! I hate you!" I was yelling at him.
"No. You don't hate me but when I first saw you...I fell in love with you. I'm still in love with you".
"Liar" I started to walk away from him but he grabs me and kiss me.
"I love you"
"I love you more" I'm so dumb.

The next day I didn't feel like going to school so I stayed. I have been sick for a few days so has Tyler. Think it hit me that we werewolves can't get sick.
"Hey, are you okay?" I ask Tyler who he was coughing. Then all of the sudden I started to cough.
"What's happening?" Tyler asked me.
"I don't know," I said shaking my head. We cough again and again and again and again until we both spit up blood.
"Call Brett" Tyler yells out.
I went to find my phone and I dial his number. My vision is going away. "Hello?"
"I can't see. I can't see" Tyler is yelling.
"Alaia?"
"Something is wrong...we are coughing and we can't see. Please help" I heard a body thump on the ground.
"Stay there I'm coming"
"No-" I fell.
"Alaia! Ty! Are you okay"

I was in the bathroom to pee ever since that sickness happened like days ago. I've been peeing like crazy. I haven't talked to Brett since he saved Tyler and me.
I feel so dizzy and hungry all the time. I lay in bed I heard my door being open and saw Tyler walking in."Hey you ready for school" he ask me. I shook my head no.
He scoffs and laid in bed with me. "How long are you going to do this? It's been four days"
"Yes I know"
"You and Brett are done for good huh?"
"I don't know"
"Do you want me to make feel good like we use to?" I smiled at him. He knows how to make me feel good whenever Brett and I fight.

We walked through the school doors everyone was staring at us "why are they staring?" I whisper to Tyler.
"Because..you haven't been to school duh" or maybe they were looking at the sophomore with tattoos. I only have two. A snake on my spine and the half & half on my upper thigh.
I saw Liam when we were walking past his class I stop. "What are you doing?"
"Hi, Liam" I whisper for him to hear only. I see him looking up, behind him then looking at the door. I wave, and he waves back.
"Looking cute" I sent him a wink. I can see him getting red "you were right about Brett, he's a dick" he nods.
"Want to go on a date?" He quickly nods his head.
"What are you doing?" Tyler said.
"Relax Ty," I said. I look back at Liam "pick a date and call me" I blew him a kiss.

"Please...can we talk?" Brett pulled me into the boy's locker room.
"I'm done. We're done, Brett. Why can't you get that in your thick scull" I pointed my head with my finger?
"I wish I could take it back"
"You knew that I was already in pain Brett. You didn't care, you only cared about friends and parties"

"Elena died". My older sister died that night.
"I'm sorry!"
"You told me that you were coming over but you never did. So I went to the party...I saw you and her laughing"
"I-" I cut him off "-I needed you!" He tried to grab my hand I pulled away.
"Where were you? When I needed you? Huh? Where were you!" I slapped him. "You're such a jackass, I hate you!" I yelled at him. I pushed him out the way.
