(I changed the location to mount Tianheng because I found a nice view there)
Once Aether was done preparing, he headed to the mountain the two had planned to meet up on. Aether used the teleport waypoint to teleport to the place they had planned to meet on, he looked around for xiao but couldn't find him so he called out for him.
"Xiao?" Aether said out loud. The adeptus appeared Infront of him "traveler." Xiao said tilting his head slightly up to face the traveler.
"Hello! Xiao!" aether said happily. "Let's go there." Xiao pointed towards a place with a nice view. They both walked to the place and sat down on the floor.

The two were silently looking at the view when Xiao suddenly spoke, "thank you traveler." Xiao said, Aether was surprised by the sudden thank from the emo adeptus. "huh?" Aether turned around to look at the adeptus.
"The purifying thing you did.. it somewhat helps" Xiao said calmly. "Oh! I'm glad I could help!" Aether sounded happy.
A few hours of talking went by , it was dark by now.

Xiao fell asleep, aether did not notice at first since he doesn't talk much but when he didn't reply to Aether's questions, Aether turned around to see a sleeping Xiao. "he's so cute.." Aether thought to himself while staring at the sleeping adeptus before him.
The blonde's eyes sparkled as if he is looking at beautiful view even though there was one right Infront of him. Aether stood up and picked Xiao up carefully, he carried him in a bridal style so he could rest.
The adeptus leaned his head onto Aether's chest for comfort. Just then, Aether felt butterflies in his stomach, he started blushing. Aether teleported back to whangsu inn using teleport waypoints.
Then, he took Xiao to his room and gently placed him on the bed. The blonde was about to walk away when he felt a hand grab his. Aether flinched at the unexpected action from the adeptus, the traveller turned around after a few seconds looking down at the adeptus who he thought was still asleep. "stay.." Aether heard a small whisper from Xiao. The traveller decided why not stay since Xiao asked for it. He took a chair and sat beside the adeptus reading a book his friend Xingqiu had given him some time ago while Xiao slept.
