I see forever in your eyes (formula 1 story)

Chapter 3

Charles

They walk along the beach, nearly touching with their hands. Juliette can't stop smiling or take her eyes of him, neither can Charles.

Both stop and sit on the beach watching the sunrise.

Charles looks her in the eyes and says: "I have never met a more perfect girl than you are, Juliette. I know you for like 5 hours but spending time with you feels so good, I wish I could get to know you better"

Juliette blushes and responds: "I feel the same Charles. I already felt it in the club earlier, when I first saw you. I can't describe it but I think I fell for you a little bit"

Charles is so happy that he doesn't want to do something else than kiss her. He cups her face in his hands and kisses her softly. She immediately return the kiss and afterwards they look into each others eyes for a while.

After this perfect moment Charles remembers a small detail, which spoils his mood: "Why are the most precious people are living hundreds of miles away?"

Juliette says sadly: "I really don't know, it is such a cliché"

Charles: "So what are we doing then Juliette?"

Juliette: "I don't know, the last thing I need right now is a heartbreak to be honest. We need to be realistic, I live in Austria and you in Monaco, besides the fact that you travel most of the time."

Charles: "Yeah, I mean I love my job, but the fact that I am barely at home sucks. I don't know if I want to take the risk and hurting you in the end."

Juliette: "I get that and I also don't know what I am doing next, now I finished university. Wait, I have an idea, what if we make an agreement to enjoy our holidays together and at the end of it we go our separate ways without a heartbreak?"

Charles gotta let that sink, because right now he doesn't want to think about the fact the he would never see her again after the remaining 5 days. But he knows he needs to be realistic, as Juliette said. His job and lifestyle doesn't really fit into Juliettes life, who lives hours away.

Juliette: "I know it's a stupid idea and maybe it will not work, because I never felt that connection with anyone before but it is the only reasonable way without hurting each other"

Charles knows that so he says: "Than I think we have an agreement?"

Juliette nods and adds to cheer up the situation: "Maybe we are meant to be and we will see each other again"

They both put on a fake smile and really want to believe that but know deeply inside that live doesn't always goes the way they want it to go.

Charles: "So in this case we have to exploit this agreement, Juliette. What are you doing today?"

Juliette: "I don't have any plans. You know I am actually here with my best friend Lina but she left the party with a guy, so I think I am going to the hotel now and look if she is already there. After I talked to her we could arrange something?"

Charles: "Sounds perfect to me, than we should exchange numbers"

They quickly give each other their phone numbers and than Charles walks Juliette back near the Club and calls her a taxi.

He gives her a kiss on the cheek and says: "I am looking forward to seeing you again, beautiful"

Charles watches Juliette get into the taxi and thinks: "Okay Charles, this will not end well"
