The song changed and they sat down to have Karan's favorite dessert, hot chocolate brownie, gulab jamun, and vanilla ice cream. Tejasswi always laughed at this combination, but today, she ordered it herself. Karan was surprised to see her enjoying this dessert. After having dessert, they left for his place.

Since it was Karan, who was driving, he took a longer route to his place. Tejasswi knew why he was doing that, to spend time with her, as a long drive was the favorite part of their dates, but she wanted to rush back home as soon as possible, to bring her surprise to life.

"Sunny, yaha se kyun jaa rahe hai hum? Ab aadha ghanta aur lag jayega extra!", complained Tejasswi.

"Tu mera answer jaanti hai Laddoo, fir bhi pooch rahi hai? Chal bol deta hoon, mujhe tere saath aise long drive pe jaana pasand hai. Bas tu aur main, saath mein puraane gaane. Bahot acha lagta hai mujhe. Aur vaise hi tune Naagin banke dass liya hai humara saara time. Ab aise hi karna padega na!!", replied Karan.

"I know Sunnyyyyy. Mujhe bhi tere saath hi saara time spend karna hai apna, par abhi thakaan lagri hai, thoda jaldi chalein ghar?", asked Tejasswi.

"Okay", came his reply.

She knew he was upset now, but she also knew that he'd be happier when he sees the surprise. Her buzzing phone broke her train of thoughts. She was not used to receiving so many messages at this time of the night, especially from her friends and family.

Everybody was asking her the same question - "What is your reply now? When can we expect a reply from you? Will it be a Yes?", she read around 20 messages out loud.

She was confused and looked at Karan, who kind of understood what exactly happened.

"Laddoo, ek baar apne Instagram mentions dekhna. Shayad waha se samajh aaye", said Karan and she opened the app. It would be an understatement to say that she was flooded with notifications.

After scrolling through hundreds of comment notifications asking her the same question, she could finally see a video, in which she was tagged by ColorsTV.

She could see Karan with Varun Dhawan on DDJ set as the cover photo. Before she could open the video, the caption caught her eyes -

'@tejasswiprakash kya hai aapka jawab? Bataiye apne Social Media pe!'

She opened the video and heard Varun say -

"Bhabhi ji, Tejasswi Bhabhi, aaj main, National TV pe aapse poocha chahta hoon, kya aap Mr. Kundrra ke saath Jug Jugg Jeene ko tayyar ho? Iska jawab aap de humein apne Social Media pe."

She did not react for a minute. She wanted to say yes, a big YES, obviously, but she couldn't. All she could hear in her ears was what the Pandit had said. And she thought to herself, "Yeh sahi time hai. Abhi kuch karna sahi rahega."

"Karan, kya hai yeh? Aise kaun karta hai, voh bhi National TV pe?", asked Tejasswi. Her voice had no emotions and that confused Karan.

For a second he thought that she might be joking, because, well, their relationship started on National TV, so why can't the next step be done there too, after all, it was a reality show only.
