Chapter Twenty Three

It has been three weeks since Anthony allowed Gregory and Lillian to wed and ever since then Lillian's life has been taken over with flower arrangements and guest lists full of people she had spent most of her serving. And the only people she really wanted at her wedding were the Bridgertons, her mother, her father and her stepfather and brothers. But Lillian knew her stepfather would not becoming as he made it quite clear that he would not take part in her new life as a Bridgerton. With her wedding in three days Lillian has been rushing to get everything finalized that she completely forgot how much her life was changing. She knew once she was married she would move into a new house with Gregory and then a few weeks later her brother would be joining them. The night before her wedding she received a package from her stepfather, “Your mother would have wanted you to have this it is family heirloom from your father's side that was given to her when they were married they are a matching set and at one point it included a ring but you mother wished to have that with her. Just know that your mother, your father and I love you very much and only ever wanted the best for you.”
