Naruto's parents hated him and dismissed him in favor of Menma and Naruko.
Then shit happens.
Menma and Naruko had two portions of the fox while Naruto got fucked over.
But hey. They'll all regret it when he becomes extremely powerful.
Naruto began walking through the forest in the direction of Konoha. He was walking back there because there was plot progression there.
He began thinking about his past with his abusive parents and stuff. He was so glad he was free of them and was looking forward to getting stronger and stuff.
But then eventually a set of paper shurikens came at him. He dodged them.
"Ugh. What now?" Naruto groaned.
He turned to see the the source of the attack.
They saw a woman floating down half separated in different paper sheets and assembling.
She approached him, ready to fight.

So the two of them fought.
Anyway, after that was over, the paper person that Naruto eventually remembered was someone he met previously. Konan. They were both miserable and alone and stuff at the time. It was sad to see how this happened.
Naruto decided he'd make more of an effort to help people, be less judgmental, and make an effort to help people that he might think are the bad guys.
Meanwhile the comment section started taking bets to see how many chapters before Naruto decides to kill the first person that's even vaguely in his way or even looks at him funny.
He also began to get concerned about Konan. He really hoped that she wasn't a part of a group of assassins that might be a risk to a lot of people. But hey, if the secret group were to exist and be collecting Jinchuriki, that would be funny because it means his siblings would be attacked and he can laugh at them.
