Jack: Okay, Max. So, what brings you here to Krinlin?
Max: Technology. I've been on the lookout for technology. Leave me, I need to know what rebellion this is.
Jack: You must have heard right? The uprising? The energy problems? Anything?
Max: Nope, Not a clue. Could you speed up the explanation?
Jack: In 1943, The Nazis desperately wanted to win the war and spent so much money on R&D. The Nazis found an infinite energy source using a mineral called Vernoi. How they found it? No Idea. Documents showed that a certain scientist, whose name was redacted, helped the Nazis to make this energy source. But this all came at a cost; The Nazis were about the lose the war. They made an agreement with the allied forces to stop the war and remove all crimes in their name in exchange for the energy. And Krinlin is the new hub for all this energy. Nazis are no longer the prominent group so, the new allied forces shifted the hub here about 30-40 years ago.
Max: That's a good thing, right? Or is there a plot twist where the energy is actually destroying the planet or its a bomb made by the Nazis and The government won't believe you.
Jack:
Please stop your nonsense. I'll tell you what happened.
Over the years, humans evaded the disasters of climate change and lived happily. Until we ran out of the mineral Vernoi. Then the governments declared that new renewable resources would be found for people and Vernoi will be used only by high-demanding people. That made sense until 5 years ago. An insider named Jacob Haul put his life on the line by revealing leaked documents that showed that the Vernoi mineral was Abundant in the asteroid ring. and we were mining it constantly.
Max: There's an asteroid ring?
Jack: God, did you get amnesia or something? Did you never look at the sky since you were born?
Max: Just tell me, please?
Jack: Oh my god, it's like teaching a baby. See about 6 Billion years ago, an asteroid rain began on earth, it contained many minerals such as Gold, Silver, Iron, and potentially Vernoi. Some asteroids did not reach the Earth, it formed a ring. Now, the whole world tries to bring some asteroids back into the Biosphere to mine them.
Max and Jack now walk along the sewer path and they hear some noises, Jack and Max hide behind a tunnel pillar and they see that 4-armed agents are patrolling the sewer tunnels, possibly looking for the rebel hideout.
Max: What do we do now?
Jack: You have that pistol you threatened me with?
Max: I like this plan but, I'd prefer not to kill anyone. The gun is set to stun, for now.
Max and Jack wait until the agents go past them and attack them from behind, Max sets 2 guards to stun whereas Jack killed the rest of the 2 guards. Max, although distraught, doesn't care about Jack's brutality. Max sees the guards have a very unique type of gun. Max senses something familiar about the guns.
Max: Hey Jack! Do you know where these Agents get their weapons?
Jack: As far as I know, the weapons come from the capital buildings. Not a lot is known about them. Why do you ask?
Max: Nothing, it's just reminiscent of something
Max and Jack now walk towards a wall, and as Jack starts to tap the wall, a passcode appears, as if it was there on the wall the whole time. Jack starts to type in some numbers and amateur tries to hide the numbers from Max but Max is able to see the first 5 digits of the 9-digit passcode, 9-3-7-4-2-#-#-#-#
