The maids had just dressed Leo in his nightwears when Felix came knocking telling Leo that his father wants him(ik that sounds wrong but y'all this ain't incest). Leo followed Felix towards Claude's room when Felix was about to knock Leo just opened the door and went in. Felix sweat dropped but he left knowing that his prince could handle his king.
"Dad u needed me?" Claude saw his son. But Leo was shocked at the unexpected seen in front of him. Claude's face was utter mess. His hair deshelved his eyes a little puffy and red and his face wet with tears.
Now Leo's Apathetic facade was gone and now one could see worry all over his face. Looking at his son running towards him Claude sqatted down to his son's level. "Father!? What- what happened? Why are you crying?" Claude Looked at his son and hugged him tightly making Leo's white shirt a little wet due to his own tears.
Leo was troubled and confused at Claude's state and behaviour but all he could do was pat his father's back. He could hear his father's muffled voice saying 'i am sorry' it didn't take long for Leo to figure out what was happening. He wanted to comfort Claude but he wasn't good with his words so he stayed silent.
Claude on the other hand felt warmth that he lacked after his love left to recuperate after giving birth. The small warm pats was all Claude needed rather than those sympathetic and pitiful words. Finally leaving his son's crook of the neck(?) (Is that what it's called?) "Let's sleep together" Leo nodded looking at his father's condition it was the best option!! That night Claude slept without any nightmares and in the warmth of his son. He slept peacefully. And woke up fresh in the morning.
Short chapter- but what can I do? Haha- i was gone for a fairly long time huh- 😅😅 I truly apologize!!! My exams are coming up they are next month!! And bad news we don't get a single holiday in between to revise- shitty people!! They have absolutely no mercy!!
