els pov:

when i got outside the school i had a terrible feeling that my first day was going to be hell. as i walked through the corridors i reached my locker, this group of people were looking at me like i was some sort of animal in a zoo. first lesson was english so i got my books and went to class. when i got there, there was a seat free right next to this brown haired, green eyed girl. she looked nice so i sat next to her, of course i didnt really have a choice.

maxs pov:

when i got to school, the whole party was staring at this girl, she looked new. she had brown hair and brown eyes, she seemed quite basic. i didnt get why everyone was staring, she wasnt even all that. 'hey' lucas said 'have u seen the new kids? they seem really nice! we should be friends with them' staring at her. 'hell yea! the girl is so pretty' mike said with a big grin on his face. i stood there, quiet, thinking about what it would be like with another girl in the group, i was more like a boy since i dressed like one. when i was growing up everyone thought i was a lesbian, but i didnt think much of it till i reached high school. after awhile i realised i like girls and told the party, they were all supportive so i didnt think much of it. 'what does everyone have first?' lucas asked looking at his time table 'maths' mike stated 'same as mike' i said 'i got english' said lucas 'i got english too' said dustin 'im gonna go to my locker, il see you later' i said whilst going to my locker. i opened my locker and grabbed my maths book and went to class. i saw the new girl on the way, she glaced at me but i didnt think much of it. sooner or later i was in maths with mike, we had a shit teacher. he was called mr. marcus. he was so boring and aggressive, i hated him and so did mike. luckily, he let me sit next to mike so i didnt have to sit near someone random.

els pov:
i stuck with will everywhere, but he had maths first so i was lonely during english. i was fine though because the girl next to me was nice to me and helped me throughout the class. after class, i went to find will and i saw him waiting for me at my locker 'hey will' i said 'hey what do class do you have next?' he said staring at this boy from afar 'i have geography, you?' 'looks like were good because i have geography too' he said smiling 'okay good, english was so lonely without you to be honest' i put my english book away and me and will went to geography, we sat next to eachother but that boy that he was staring at was in it aswell and will couldnt and wouldnt take his eyes of him. i knew will was gay, it was pretty obvious but of course, he didnt know i knew. will only spoke abit to me because of this boy, he kept speaking to will and he was actually quite handsome. after class i asked will 'made a new friend then?' 'yeah! he said he has a group of friends aswell and we could join if we wanted?' will said, i replied 'sure i guess' we had a free lesson so me and will went to grab some food since we were both hungry, mom gave us $20 to share, we both had $10. we both wanted mcdonalds so we got some, will ordered his usual and so did i, after an hour we had to go back for class, so me and will left to go back to school. 'i have english next, you?' will said to me whilst drinking his coke 'maths' 'i guess we just switched first lesson then' he said whilst laughing 'yea i guess so' i said whilst laughing. we got back to school and wills friend was there waiting for us. 'hey will' he said 'hey mike, this is my sister, el' 'hey el' he said with a nice tone 'hey' i responded to be polite. the rest of his group came along and it was an instant shock to see, 'this is lucas' he said, pointing at the boy in the back, 'this is dustin' he said pointing at this boy with extremely curly hair 'this is max, she doesnt like to speak much but you could try get somethin outta her!' he said pointing at this gorgeous red headed girl, 'mike!' max shouted whilst hitting his arm 'ow!' he screamed 'anyone got english next?' will asked 'yea me and max' mike stated whilst looking at will, 'el im gonna walk to class, il see you at lunch!' will shouted whilst walking away with mike and max. 'i guess you have maths then?' asked dustin 'yep' i said with an annoyed tone, not that i hated the boys, i just feel angry with will because he left me for that mike and max. me dustin and lucas walked to maths, we all sat together since i was new. the teacher was called mrs smith, she seemed old and annoying but it didnt matter because no one listened to her so she stormed out the classroom leaving the class un-attended, it was like a zoo until she got the head teacher, 'oi! you lot!, you better listen to mrs smith unless you want a detention with me on a friday after school!' he shouted, mrs smith stood there, grinning the class said back 'yes mr witten' as he went out, mrs smith carried on with her lesson. i couldnt wait to get out of here, it was so boring and id never been good at maths.

maxs pov:

el seemed boring and i was sure to keep my distance from her. i had english with will and mike, id never been good at english so i always got mike to help me, but this time he was helping will so i was left alone, no clue what to do. half way into english, mike finally spoke to me, 'hey, whats the answer to number 14?' he asked, of course he js wanted answers, 'he wanted to move houses because his dad died in the house' i told him, 'thanks' he turned around and didnt speak to me for the rest of the class.

i know this is a long first part but its needed for the story line!
