maxs pov:

finally it was the end of the school day. i left school to meet the boys so we could walk home together and mike came along with el and will 'they dont live far so there gonna walk home with us' he said whilst walking away talking with el and will 'i guess we dont have a choice?' i said whilst walking with dustin and lucas. lucas always smiled at me and it was pretty obvious he liked me, i didnt like him like that. he knew i was a lesbian so i dont get why he likes me. i get we dated when we first started high school but surely i cant be that hard to get over? dustin lived the closest to school so we walked to his house first. all mike did was talk to el and will whilst walking infront of us. after 10 minutes, we were at dustins house. he left and it was just me and lucas, thing have never been awkward between us but today it just seemed really awkward? i have no clue why.

els pov:

after school mike told us to meet him after class, so we did. 'where do you live?' he asked us, 'not far from school, why?' will questioned back. 'you can walk home with us if thats okay with you?' mike said whilst taking his books oit his locker. 'yeah sure, el?' will asked 'hm? oh yea sure' i said not knowing what i agreed to. we walked out of school and saw the rest of the group, i saw max but she looked annoyed so i didnt speak, it was kind of awkward but me will and mike walked of so it was just max lucas and dustin behind, after 10 minutes we looked back and i didnt see dustin. 'where's dustin go?' i asked mike 'oh he lives just there, hes gone home' mike responded 'okay' i said looking at the floor. i didnt really speak for the rest of the way, but sooner or later we were at mikes and he was the last one to go home. he went home shouting 'bye el! bye will!' we shouted bye back and went our ways home, 'are you okay? you werent speaking much' will asked 'yeah i guess, i just feel as if they dont like me so i just stayed back abit' i said looking like im about to cry 'el, im sure they like you. its only the first day' he said as we got home.

maxs pov:

i got home and stormed went straight upstairs, to find my laptop open. i guess i forgot to shut it this morning. i have no clue what i was doing with my life, ever since the new girl joined the party i guess ive just felt different, not a very good different either. shes just so annoying and seems so weird, i hate her. or do i? do i hate her or am i just jealous? i dont even know anymore. im just gonna go with i hate her. what time is it?  6:48pm. god its going so slow, i just want the day to end. i decided to go to the arcade because that was the only thing i find comforting, i got billy to take me and he gave me some money aswell, he was a great brother. i appreciate him so much. sometimes when im upset or mad, he'd take me out with just me and him and he'd cheer me up. of course i played dig-dug, im top score on that. after awhile of playing, billy texted me saying he was outside so i went out and got in the car. 'thanks billy' i said 'hey no problem, i got you food aswell since im guessing you havent ate since school' he said in a sweet tone. 'billyyy' i said with a smile he give me a smile back whilst passing me my food and driving off. once we got home, i said goodnight to my family and went upstairs and sat on my phone till i got bored, i needed to talk to more people but everyone just annoyed me for no reason. i was so fed up with everything and everyone i decided to just go to sleep. i turned my tv of, put my phone on charge and went to bed as usual but then i started crying for no absolute reason. i wiped my tears and fell asleep. 

els pov:

when i got home, it felt weird since it was a friday and i had only just joined a new school. i didnt know what to do so i just sat there, listening to music and sitting in my feelings, no clue why but i was upset. i guess i didnt like the fact my own brother can make friends but i cant, i was only there because will was, if will didnt speak to mike, we'd still have no friends after an hour mom shouted 'foods ready! come down' i heard will running, whilst i got changed into something comfy and walked downstairs. 'woah el are you ok?' will asked 'yeah? why?' i asked with a confused look on my face 'your eyes are red and u have bags under your eyes?' he said concerned. 'im fine' i said whilst stuffing the food in my mouth. after eating i went back upstairs and put on a movie and fell asleep for the night, i cuddled a few teddies to feel less lonely.
