Moonreader: One of the protagonists is a dragon named Moonreader. She is described to be an Eclipsewing. She has ebony scales with pale blue-white talons, and with one eye being red and the other a dark blue, she also has the condition with her, one was a dark frost blue and the other a blood red, she has a scar across her snout, left eye and a shredded ear, and usually wears a small black pouch slung across her chest, and wares a metal tail barb that it silver and has a pale blue water drop tattoo on the corner of her blue eye. She is also a black magic dragon with two custom enchantments on her (the two powers will be revealed in the book.) She was abandoned by her mother while she was a egg at the orphanage in Evergreen valley. She was bullied or had awkward conversations with other dragons, due to her tribe and her heritage of being a supposed hybrid even though there were many hybrids there. The only dragons she got along with were two dragons named Sinon and Shadow and the dragonets she was taking care of at the time. They went on adventures but it got out of hand and was very weird. Moon is calm, caring and brave and will do anything to protect someone she loves, she is also an animus witch made dragons to further believe she's a hybrid. She loves to draw and read, as well as sitting under a particular pine tree where the moon always rises. she is quite but can have quite bursts of rage if some one tips her off balance (Stating she its irritable) but can make a good call when the time come, she also is an introvert, and will try to block out most dragons but Shadow and Sinon were different. Her family is tied with the royal family with her father being the brother of the queen, she also learns that Shadow is her half brother after talking to Darkmoon. She enchanted two rocks and they turned into dragon eggs after Sinon confessed her love to Moon and Moon returned her feelings , She was captured along with Shadow and Sinon on their quest to stop Darkmoon and they ended up in her fathers prison in the Void kingdom place. She met her second brother , Comet and he told her that she and Shadow did not grow in the tribe after something there father did that drove there mother crazy that made her hide their eggs before hatching, during the great escape Darkmoon caught them and to try and punish her. He wounded Shadow fatally and tried killing Sinon but Moon sacrificed her self and in her last attempt to save them she and Comet sent Darkmoon into the abyss and she died and turned into a wandering sprite and she watched her dragonets, Shadow, Sinon and Comet and participated in battle after Darkmoon returned and she finally killed him but after she killed him he manged to kill one of her dragonets and killed her sprite killing her forever.
Sinon: Sinon is a cool headed and slightly sensible dragon, but when adventure calls she can't help but go on the path her heart and mind are pulling her to, especially if its with her two best friends Moon and Shadow. Sinon has dark smoke gray scales that are almost black but not quite, with cyan wings light blue eyes with red slits in her pupils eye with a white scarf, a brown leather belt and gloves on her front talons. Sinon is kind but she has a dark past of trauma unknown to others but Moon knows as she caught Sinon thinking about it multiple times. She is also suicidal due to her killing her mother after she had gaslighted her (as well as her father). Moon and Sinon also had quite a few fights about her powers, but Moon always told Sinon things first even if they got into a bad fight the day before. She also tried to help find moon and almost got caught but a dragon helped her. Sinon is a cold headed and smart dragon, but very adventurous, yet wary of new dragons and situations. She is also lesbian (having a crush on Moon.) She loves to hunt and sing. She has also attempted suicide but Shadow and Moon stopped her.
Shadow: Shadow is quite, and is a blind Eclipsewing. He likes music and is a slight introvert, but can most of the time get along with some dragons. He is the realist of the three but can be sarcastic at times. He likes staying in one place but when it comes to his friends he can't help but have a small thrill of fun every once and a while. He was shocked to discover that Moonreader is his half sister after they are captured by their father but it explained why he and Moon looked similar. He has blackish blue scales with white stripes on his snout, wings and tail and pale blue eyes that are clouded. He is depressed, has brain fog and has Bipolar Disorder. The reason he does not have out bursts is that he has learned to control his emotions when in front of other dragons, but he does have a few out bursts that lead to him injuring someone. He blames himself after the death of Storm (the dragon who raised Moon and helped Shadow.) He was blinded in the same accident that Storm died in.
Comet: Comet is a cold and reserved dragon, an outsider to his tribe and family. His mother is Eclipse and his father is prince Darkmoon. He always was a bitter and unhappy dragon as everyone treated him differently just because he was royalty. He never was interested in politics and only wanted a normal life. He was assigned to guard duty after his father and a few other dragons brought in three dragons from the main world and he learned that two of them were related to him. When Shadow and Moonreader were put in separate prisons he promised to help Sinon to break them out. During the great escape Darkmoon found out that Comet was helping them and captured him and locked him up were he was forced to watch Darkmoon try to kill his half brother, Shadow and his friend Sinon but Moonreader sacrificed herself. Enraged he sent Darkmoon to the abyss with the help of Moonreader, even though he only knew Moonreader from the time they were together while she was imprisoned he grieved for her greatly. He has pale blue scales with navy stripes on his wings and tail and navy talons with copper eyes and a gold earring with a onyx pendant, and a scar across his shoulder and is also a black magic dragon.
