The first few months were rocky at best. Their time spent together typically ended in arguments. About names, about cribs or about family traditions the child would follow as he/she grew up
A wrong look from Taehyung would send Jennie off on a awful state, screaming about how much she hated having him father of her child. He would yell back, claiming she was less than ideal
Much to dilemma, Taehyung to scramble to defend himself while she burst into tears. He learned early on that her mood swings were worse than when they were teenagers with hormones running rampant on their bodies. He also went out midnight to fulfilled her cravings, if he didn't do that, whatever she's telling him to do, then she started to cried and he hate her crying, so he always gave up and followed whatever she's telling to him
But on the morning of her 18th week appointment, they were a picture of agreement and healthy co-parenting
They had both been waiting for this day since Jennie dropped the bomb that she was pregnant with his child. His mother was convinced it was a boy. Jennie argued that their child could be a girl
Speaking of his family, both of his parents had taken the news of him stupidly knocking up a girl better than expected. His mother was thrilled to have a grandchild so she could spoiled it. His father was less than thrilled, but offered his congratulations and promised to throw the missiles wherever it needed to protect his grandchild. On the other hand, Jennie's parent's also much excited about their grandchild
Their friends on the other hand were a different story
Irene and Chahee had threatened to cut him with an ax when Jennie broke the news, which left her scrambling to defend their drunken actions
Jisoo, Suga, Jimin had both cried and then laughed at the fact that the 'two smartest people they knew' had gotten pregnant by accident
Jungkook, Jin, Jhope and Namjoon had just shaken their head and slapped him on the back before they wrapped him in hugs
Their friends had then taken on an unspoken competition to see who could spoil the unborn child more
However, out of all their family and friend's reactions, none of them covered how Taehyung felt
Kim Taehyung was terrified at the thought of having a child. He was terrified by the fact that he didn't know how to love a child. Terrified about raising a child to turn out different. Either gender, he couldn't care less. He just wasn't sure being involved would be the way to give the child the best upbringing possible
His anxieties about becoming a father were only amplified through the ultrasound. He swore if they put the baby to his chest his heartbeat would be faster than the baby's
"So, do you want to know the gender?" The doctor asked, waiting for their confirmation
They both nodded in agreement. Taehyung felt Jennie's hand reach down to intertwine their fingers. The more time they spent together, the more hands-on she got
"Congratulations" The doctor announced, the words breaking Taehyung from his thoughts "It's a healthy baby boy"
Jennie groaned over dramatically as she leaned back to rest her head against his arm, a happy smile on her face "Your mother will be most happiest on earth when she learns she's right"
Taehyung nodded, still in shocked
It was a boy
Jennie was pregnant with a boy
A son. His son

"This is all your fault" Jennie practically screamed as she walked into Taehyung's office, throwing up files and cushions of the sofa
Taehyung looked up from the document he was signing as he tried to determine what was his fault this week "Well you're not puking this time and you just went shopping I know it's not your clothes not fitting as you so what about last week, so what is it, Jen?" He asked as she came to stand in between the desk and his chair
"I have been so freaking horny this week. All week. Nothing is working. Not my fingers, not my vibrator, nothing"
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, unsure of where this conversation was going "What would you like me to do about that?"
"Fuck me. Please. It's not like you haven't done it before" She said before she motioned to her big belly "I'm not going to sleep with someone else while I'm knocked up with your child"
"Damn you are right!"
Taehyung growled, standing up and wrapping one hand into her curls and tilting her head up to his, interlocking their lips for the first time since they had conceived their child
