Riri Williams hated to admit it. She had been waiting for her next session with Shields resident chiropractor. That being said she would be going tonight, for now though she had a mission to do.

"Ironheart! Stop thinking and start helping!" The voice of America Chavez came over her comms sounding like she was struggling with something.

"I'm on my way!" Riri quickly called out before flying towards the monster the team was fighting.

Anticipation could come later, her team had to come now.

"I'm so sick of the food themed monsters" Riri Williams groaned to herself as she tried to pick the chocolate pudding from her hair. She was no longer in her armor and was now in a pudding stained white tank top and jeans. "How the hell did it even get under my armor?" The door to the doctors office slid open as she approached. "Hello?!" She called out loudly as she continued picking pudding from her hair:

"What the hell happened to you?" (Y/n) laughed as he looked over the pudding covered girl.

"I couldn't explain it if I tried" Riri sighed before walking to the bar stool he had had her sit in during their last session.

"Does it have anything to do with Wasp eating strawberries but claiming to be eating the blood of her enemies during lunch yesterday?" Riri considered his question before realizing what he was talking about.

"Yep. There have been a lot of food themed monsters recently. Yesterday morning was Strawberryzilla. Nadia must have decided he'd make a good meal" Riri sat down glanced at the doctor. "You ready?"

(Y/n) shrugged but just walked over to Riri. He wiped a bit of pudding off of her neck. "My hands are going to get super dirty aren't they?" He sighed but licked the pudding off his finger. "That's pretty good actually"

"And that was kinda gross" Riri's face scrunched up as she shook her head. (Y/n) just shrugged and walked behind her. "Let's save the eating food off my body until we get to know each other better"

"Whatever you say" (y/n) shrugged before placing his hands on her forehead gently. "Ooh" he started almost immediately. "You're stressed"

"Oh? A superhero with stress? That's new" (y/n) rolled his eyes at Riri's sarcastic attitude.

"So how have you been since last week?" (Y/n) asked as he picked up the drill like device.

"I haven't had any back pain" Riri replied with a smile as (y/n) turned on the device and held it against her forehead. She winced a bit but was better a moment later.

"That's good" (y/n) nodded and a moment later removed the device. "How about your asthma?"

"Haven't had any issues with that" Riri confirmed with a nod. "Although I rarely did before anyways" (y/n) felt around her head again.

"Good. good" (y/n) put the drill thing against Riri's hip like he did the last session. "For your back again" he turned it on and Riri winced once again. "You feeling any less stressed after what I just did to your forehead?"

Riri nodded before replying. "Absolutely. I don't know this stuff isn't common knowledge. Whenever I hear about chiropractors it's made out to sound like voodoo and bullshit" (y/n) removed the drill thing and turned it off.

"Yeah I never got that either" (y/n) shrugged as he once again felt her head. "Think of something that stresses you out. Enemies, boyfriend, girlfriend, stuff like that"

"I don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend so I'll think of an enemy" she thought about one and (y/n) nodded happily.

"Good. Definitely much less stress now" (y/n) pulled his hands away before walking back in front of Riri. "Here, stand up" Riri did as he said and he lead her across the room:

"What's this?" Riri glanced down at the cushioned table looking thing before them.

"Honestly I don't remember what it's called. Lay on it for about ten minutes a day though and it can have significant help for your back. It's mostly athletes that use it but I figure it'll work just as well for armored heroes"

Riri nodded before sitting down on the table. She slowly lay back and positioned herself so she was comfortable. "This good?" (Y/n) nodded and he flipped a switch. The table started vibrating so low that had she not been used to that sort of thing she wouldn't have noticed it.

(Y/n) sat in a seat beside the table and looked down at Riri. "That feel alright?" She nodded and watched him back. "Can't help but notice you were much more eager to start this time than last time" (y/n) smirked as Riri turned to look away from him.

"I may have been excited to see how much things would change afterwards compared to the last time" Riri didn't say anything else but they both knew that wasn't the only reason.

(Y/n) nodded. "The changes won't be to the same degree that's for sure. Much more subtle this time" Riri nodded in understanding. (Y/n)'s face reverted back to his previous smirk. "You sure you weren't just a bit excited to see me again?"

Riri's head quickly shot back to facing the doctor. "And why would I be?"

"All your friends are heroes" (y/n) replied as if it were obvious. "Maybe you want to spend time with everyday people again? Or maybe some other reason, I'm not a mind reader"

Riri just shook her head and didn't bother responding to the doctor's accusations. She just closed her eyes, lay back, and relaxed.

After another three or so minutes (y/n) spoke again. "So what do you do when you're not superheroing?"

"I'm a student at MIT" Riri replied as she opened her eyes again and looked back up at the boy. He was using a napkin to wipe the pudding that had gone from her hair to his hands off of his hands. "I'm working on getting my masters right now"

"Oh?" (Y/n) asked curiously. "How much longer do you have left?"

"About a year" Riri replied as she watched the boy throw the napkin into a nearby trashcan. "Not that I really need it. It's really just something for me to do with my free time"

"I get that" (y/n) nodded as he glanced across the office. "I just read with my free time" Riri looked towards where the boy was looking and noticed a bookshelf she had dismissed the first time she had energetic the office.

"Always fun" Riri spoke as she turned her head back towards her doctor.

They were once again silent for another few minutes. "So what is your policy on fraternizing with patients outside of the office?" Riri's words caused the boy to smirk and she almost regretted them because of it.

"Riri Williams, are you saying I was right about you? Do you want a normal friends?" Riri rolled her eyes.

"No. I just want easier access to my chiropractor in case I ever have any spontaneous issues" Riri lied as she crossed her arms.

"Sure, sure" (y/n) shook his head as he grabbed a pen and a post it. "Anyways my policy is the more fraternizing the better" he wrote something on the post it before quickly sticking it to Riri's forehead, causing her to roll her eyes again. "That's my cell"
