The end is near guys and I don't mean the end of the world, just the whole Octavinelle chapter. I'm happy with this entire book and how far I've come thank you all so much for taking the time to read. You have one month left and since October is right around the corner you guys know what that means right? The Ghost event special chapter, haha I'm excited for that one as well, I seriously can't wait. "Hey, those are the contracts we signed!" Deuce said as he stared at the contracts from the now opened vault.
"So he's been keeping them in the vault after all." Ace mumbled.
"One, two, three..." Azul said now counting the contracts as he then let out a small laugh. "Heh heh heh..."
"He's counting those contracts like they're a
wad of bills! Look at that smirk on his face." Grim said as he eyed the grey haired male.
"What a twisted pastime..." Jack said.
"Would this be considering him as sadistic..?" Kanzaburou mumbled all while (Y/N) simply shrugged in response.
"Ah, that's that. I'd better be getting back now." Azul said now smiling before taking his leave.
"Phew!"
Once he was out of sight the group got out from underneath the desk sighing in relief glad that they weren't caught.
"We were this close to getting noticed." Grim said as he then let out a small sigh.
"Wait, look! He left a contract out on the table." Jack pointed out.
"For real?! Lucky us! Let's swipe it and see if we can tear it up." Ace said.
"Who knew Azul was so sloppy with this stuff? Let's see what we got here!" Grim exclaimed.
"Maybe you shouldn't take something that seems so-" (Y/N) said but was soon cut off once they all unfortunately got electrocuted.
"AGHAGHAGHAGHAGH!!!"
"MRAAAH! My whole body's paralyzed!" Grim exclaimed.
"Gah! What the hell?!" Kanzaburou exclaimed.
"Ack!" (Y/N) groaned in pained as she clutched onto Jack's shirt for support."C..can't...move.."
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!"
"Dear me, you're all twitching like you got
attacked by an electric catfish." Azul's said as he smirked at them. "You all look positively silly."
"You were onto us the whole time?!" Jack exclaimed as he helped (Y/N) steady herself.
"Of course I was. Your fluffy tail was perfectly visible under the desk." Azul said before he then let out a small sigh. "It would appear that you were trying to steal the contracts. Unfortunately for you, they're rigged to jolt anyone who touches them aside from myself."
"Nice going Jack!"
"So the whole thing was a setup?!" Ace exclaimed.
"I told you that my contracts are completely
unbreakable." Azul said.
"Aha ha ha!" Floyd laughed. "What a bunch of schmucks! Why would you even try when you know how this is gonna go?"
"Floyd, don't laugh at the poor things. That's just mean." Jade said as he smirked at them. "They're wracking their little peabrains. This is simply the best they could come up with."
