They only got closer after their first date to a sunset spot at the beach nearby - one of the perks of living in a city close to the sea.

Sasuke as usual was on his way to Naruto's class, to snatch Naruto away from his friends and monopolize him during lunch.

He heard his lover's voice right before he could turn at the corridor to his class and stopped to see his adorable surprised face as he turns at the corner.

But to his surprise what he heard was Naruto's friend trying to keep him from leaving and ditching them again, he almost felt guilty about selfishly monopolizing him - almost, he didn't even get the chance to feel guilty after what he heard next.

Meanwhile, Naruto who knew nothing about Sasuke being close enough to eavesdrop, continues on to loudly exclaime after being stopped by Inuzuka Kiba, his best friend, for having continuously ditched him and their other friends as of late.

"I'm really sorry I keep ditching you guys to be with Sasuke but I really really want to be with him as much as I can! I finally got the chance to stay close to him after being one-sidedly in love with him for so long! You of all people should know that better than anyone, right?", Naruto exclaimed desperately.

"Since you're already lovers, you can be with him whenever you want right?! Can't you at least spend your lunchtime with us? You don't even hung out on weekends with us, ever since you started dating him..!", Kiba exclaimed right back.

"We literally only just started dating, I want to be with him more!!!", Naruto raised his already loud voice - even making a couple of random students passing by look his way curiously.

"Can't you just hang out with him all you want after school or something?!!", Kiba retaliated.

"I.. Want to but, I'm hesitant to ask him, we're third years, what if I get in the way of his studies? We even ended up skiping class last time because of me", Naruto looked terribly guilty as he admitted his worries honestly.

"Haaa~~~ I get it, I give up, you really love him a lot huh", Kiba sighed, giving in to his friend's guilty face.

"mn! I love him the most in this entire universe!!", Naruto exclaimed proudly and giggled.

"Ugh, you're so head over heels for that guy.. Fine! I won't ask you to join us for lunch but don't you dare ditch hanging out with us after school, at least once in a while..! When Neji and Sakura don't have any couching, that is... ", he trailed off, wondering if those two would ever not have couching on weekdays.

"Geez, when did I ever ditch you guys that much..?", Naruto whined, sounding slightly guilty.

"You forgot that we already made plans for the weekend and asked him out on a date, didn't you?", Kiba sounded almost scary, and looked scarier.

"Ahhh! I'm sorry about that okay?! I never thought he'd like me back and forgot everything in my excitement, please spare me just this once, Kiba-sama..!", Naruto whined pitifully, and apologized with exaggerated politeness.

"tsk, tsk, you're so whipped for him...", Kiba said sounding exasperated, then continued in a more understanding tone, "well, I know you've liked him for a long time so I'm sparing you just this once, but seriously, don't even think about ditching us again after making plans with us first..!", Kiba said the last part very sternly.

"Just let him go now, he's starting to look pitiful", Hyuga Neji pitched in calmly, after having heard their ever loud voices from half way across the corridor and rushing in to intervene.

"That's right, I'd ditch you guys mercilessly too if I got to date someone I'd liked one-sidedly for two years", Haruno Sakura, who was with him, added cheerfully.
