On a certain weekend, they were having their usual date at the beach - since they'd managed to find a cave like opening while exploring around some boulders at the sunset spot on their first date there, they'd frequently visit it every chance they got.
It was surprisingly a safe and cozy spot, that was conveniently hidden away from the other couples that frequent the sunset spot - it was quite a famous date spot amongst young couples.
Since they were conveniently hidden away, they weren't holding back on cuddling and flirting as much as they wanted.
Sasuke was leaning against the rocky wall in the cozy cave whilst he held his lover who was seated between his legs, gently wrapping his arms around his shoulders from behind.
Naruto was comfy enough to start dozing off but every time he did Sasuke would kiss his cheek and deliberately keep him awake.
This was already a fixed routine for them by now.
But Naruto couldn't help but giggle happily with blush every time he got kissed on the cheek by his lover.
Sasuke burried his face in his lover's shoulder as he held him just a little tighter.
Naruto grinned brightly, finding him absolutely lovable.
In the end, that certain weekend too, was spent with them both cuddling and flirting away as usual.
They went to this very place many more times as the years went by, but eventually found better places to visit and stopped frequenting the cave that they'd once declared to be their "Love Nest".
But everytime they passed by the beach, they'd end up remembering their very first memories there and feel just a little nostalgic and extremely grateful to have had the chance to be with the one they still continued to love the most.
They may have stopped going to their so called love nest but they made sure to get a more practical and amazing love nest aka the new apartment that they still continue to live in.
From here on out, they are only going to stay happy, healthy and always be with each other until the very end.
As always, 'happily ever after's are the best - and that best is exactly what they both deserve and what they got.
They certainly lived happily ever after for a long long time.
