"That the place?" I asked when me and Park crawled towards our comrades.
"Yes. She hasn't left yet." Powers said, not averting her eyes from the shed. She put more snow in her mouth to prevent her vapor from giving away her position. The others were safely hidden behind rocks or the few trees and bushes around the shed on this isolated mountain ridge.
„Strange that she would be all the way out here and not in a city where she would be harder to find."
"You mean them?" Park pointed towards two pairs of skies next to entrance. Two more pairs were hanging on the wall next to the entrance.
"Not bad, comrade." Portnova patted her shoulder and then wriggled past her to get into a better position.
"Have you seen anyone else?"
"Positive, she's in there with a man. Tall guy with a beard. No one I am familiar with though."
"Can you describe him?" I asked and took another pair of binoculars, watching carefully that the sun was not shining through the clouds to give away his position through the lens glare. Park did the same. After a short time, they could see the two in one of the windows. Park gasped. "That motherfucker!" she cursed.
"You know that guy?" I asked.
"Yes. That's Roman Gray. Former Sergeant in the Irish Army and UN Peacekeeping force. The bastard even worked at MI6 for 15 years. He's been on my list for a long time."
"You have a list?" he asked.
She raised an eyebrow. "What, you think I don't have a personal list of targets?"
"Actually no." he admitted. "Doesn't seem like... well, you." Park did not respond to that.
The waiting was soon too much for me. And it would be getting dark really soon. "Damn. If they won't come out, I'm getting in."
"I'll go with you." Park declared quickly.
"Me too." Beck suggested. I nodded and we three crawled towards the hut, making sure they could not see us.
"We go in through the door or a window?" I whispered.
"Lets blast that door right open." Beck smiled. "What you say, boss?"
"No comrade. The explosion could cause an avalanche."
"Oh you are being too paranoid. Besides, there is not that much snow here." he argued. "Its only gonna be a small explosion. I'm only blowing up the door not the whole house."
I sighed in frustration, just wanting to get this over with. "Do it then."
Smiling bright like a child on his birthday, Beck put a charge on the door in the blink of an eye. The door blew open and Beck was the first that tried to get in.
Only to receive a severe shotgun blast to the chest and flying backwards. "Beck!" Park called out. I saw him writhing in the snow, from pain, he seemed to have been wearing a bulletproof vest.
I try to throw a flashbang in there but just as I am about to throw, a hand grabs my wrist. A very strong hand.
"Hello, 'Bell'" Wraith hissed at me and threw me to the ground before shooting Park right in the chest and making her drop with a painful scream. I knew that she was wearing a bulletproof vest like me but seeing her getting shot.... it made my blood boil.
