Katie pov (mostly)

Travis limped down the hallway of a ratty hotel with Katie supporting him, his arm swung across Katie's shoulder.

They went to the reception and Travis sat down on a wooden chair.

The receptionist looked like a zombie with heavy sleep deprived dark eye circles and bloodshot eyes. She chugged down coffee like it was water and looked at Katie. The receptionist instantly slapped on a fake smile.

"Hello! What room would you like?"

Katie smiled back and replied,

"Uh, do you have a room with a bathroom and two separate beds?" The receptionist typed something on the computer keyboard loudly and frowned. "Oh, it looks like we have run out of rooms with separate beds. Is it ok if your boyfriend and you share one bed?"

Katie blushed and looked at Travis slouched sleeping in the chair. She sighed. "Sure. How much is it?" "150 dollars." Katie handed her the cash and got the room card. Katie shook Travis awake and literally dragged him to room 104.

She swiped the card and threw Travis onto the bed which he immediately fell asleep on. Katie put down their bags, got her toiletries and went to the bathroom to run a quick shower.

When the warm water hit her injuries from fighting a hellhound, she gasped in pain but after a while, it kind of became soothing.

Steam curled along the bathroom floor and it coated the beige wall with water droplets. Katie hummed Coney Island by Taylor Swift as she doodled flowers while she washed away her conditioner. She stepped out dripping wet only to see that the mirror had fogged and there were words on it. Katie gasped.

'I SEE YOU SINGING KATIE-KAT' was scrawled on it. Katie fumed. He was awake and came in here while she was taking a bath and he heard her singing? Oh, he is so dead.

"TRAVIS STOLL!!"
