To say you get a high off of being near Javi is an understatement.

there's something about him that lights you up like dynamite. Maybe his dashing good looks? His personality? The jokes he makes? or maybe even the way he kills walkers perhaps as stupid as it may sound? You just didn't know. Maybe it is all of that combined and plus some. It's not that you're obsessive or anything. He's just very addictive somehow.

You, Javier, Tripp, Conrad, Jesus, and Clementine were going to some location that Javi's brother, David, suggested. All of you were kicked from Richmond after Javi had an argument with the main people who run it, including David. You were walking next to Javi. Tripp, Jesus, Clem and Conrad were walking a little ways ahead of you.

You glared at Javi, watching the way his dark brown eyes turned to the color of maple syrup as they shined in the moonlight. His freckles that you usually couldn't see in dark lighting became more visible. You were memorized. So memorized that you didn't notice Javi was looking right at you while you were staring at him.

"take a picture, it'll last longer." Javi smirked, being his usual cocky self.
"Well first off, i don't have a camera. And secondly, i don't want a picture of you." You scoffed and rolled your eyes.
"Ouch. That was harsh." Javi gasped jokingly and put his hand on his chest like he was actually offended.

You rolled your eyes again and looked away from him, and that of course made him do his cute little chuckle knowing that he's irritating you. You looked back over at Javi and he was still smirking. The only thing you hate about him is how cocky he is. However, his smirk turned to more of a smile.

"i think you're in love with me." Javi squinted at you, smiling like an idiot.

You rolled your eyes for the third time.

"You're delusional.." You scoffed.
"What? I mean.. it's kind of obvious, I've seen how you look at me all lovingly and stuff." He smirked again.

You shook your head in annoyance.

"i think you just want me to be in love with you." You huffed and looked down.
"Maybe i do" He shrugged.

You felt like your heart literally fluttered when he said that, and Javi noticed you perk up after he said that.

"you are actually really hot." He winked.

Your eyes widened and you felt your face get hot. Javi's hand brushed against yours slightly.

"C'mon... admit it... you're in love with me" He spoke, but this time it wasn't exactly cocky, it was more of a loving whisper.

You looked over at him and the two of you locked eyes. You felt like your knees could give in at any second.

"Why do you care?" You tried to act tough, but you really felt like you could melt.
"i just want you to tell me what i want to hear." Javi shrugged and looked forward.

You squinted and looked down.

"Fine. I'm in love with you." You sighed in defeat, almost like you were coming to a realization of this yourself.

You side-eyed him, watching his expression turn to excitement. His lips turned to make a bright smile and he looked at you.

"Well... I'm in love with you too, just so you know" Javi smiled.

You felt like you could explode. It was like you were a teenager again and you fell in love, butterflies erupting in your stomach to the point it hurts. Javi stopped for a second and turned to you. You stopped for a second and turned to him, facing him directly as the two of you locked eyes once again.

"Can i kiss you?" He asked with a soft loving expression plastered on his face.

You didn't know Javi could be so polite.

"Yes. Please do." You sigh out with a soft smile, almost sounding eager. You have been waiting for and wanting this moment for a while after all.

Javi smiled and grabbed the side of your neck with one of his hands, making you melt into his touch, your knees almost actually giving in this time. And He didn't go unaffected, he could've literally fell over at the feeling of finally touching you.

"Well... what are you waiting for?" You squint as your smile becomes brighter.

And with that, Javi pulled you closer to him by the soft hold he has on your neck. Your lips connected with his, and the tension the two of you had faded into relief as you both melted into the kiss. Your hand came up to hold Javi's hand that was placed on your neck still. Eventually, the two of you finally separated. Javi's forehead collided with yours as you both broke out in smiles and giggles in pure happiness. Unknowingly to both of you, the others had stopped out of confusion as to why you and Javi stopped and seen the kiss happen themselves. You and Javi jumped and quickly separated once y'all realized.

"Well what did we miss?" Tripp smiled, putting his hands on his hips.
"Looked like a kiss to me." Jesus smirked.
"Pft, More like a make out session." Clementine raised an eyebrow.

Everyone but you laughed at Clem's joke, even Javi. You elbowed Javi and he shrugged.

"What? It was funny... and kind of true" Javi giggled.
"Just.... Shut up dummy." You shook your head and smiled.
