The Oddities of Majitonia

Chapter 1

Raven had woken up in a ball of sweat like usual, the nightmares were normal for her but they still terrified her nonetheless. Raven got up and went to the bathroom to get ready, she was not insanely tall she was about 5,5, with straight black hair that ended at her shoulders that she liked to keep down, she was quite pale with bright blue eyes almost like lightning. She had decided to wear her normal clothing which was a black tank top and leggings and put on black lipstick. "Im really looking like a goth right now aren't I?" She said to herself before going to eat breakfast and seeing a news report about a destroyed town. When Raven saw that report she looked down and turned off the tv. She knew that town and she knew how it was destroyed. Her old home the town of darium was destroyed when she was 5 and she moved into the city near it after. After breakfast she walked out and prepared to head to school but first needing to stop and see her friend Sasha. After about a 5 minute walk she was at Sasha's house when she heard yelling and after a minute Sasha came out. Sasha was bigger than Raven standing at 5,9 with brown hair that was in a bob and also had bangs just above her green eyes. She was wearing her usual outfit of a white coat and pink shirt and jeans. "Hey Raven sorry about that my mom was just yelling at me for some stupid reason can we just go now?" Raven complied and they started walking because Raven knew Sasha's mother was not a nice woman. Sasha's father had died when she was young and her mother was very abusive to her even though Sasha may have not liked to talk about it. "So hey the science fair is today isn't that fun?" Said Raven trying to lighten up the mood, Sasha was a genius and she loved science so Raven assumed she'd love a fair literally about science. "Yes I am excited I made a new invention to make my magic turn into a rope!" Raven giggled a bit at that, Sasha's magic was always sporadic and unpredictable so she invented devices to harness it. "Well I'm sure you'll do well anyone else you know that entered?" Raven asked curiously. "No none of our friends enjoy science like me but hey are we all meeting up for lunch today?" Sasha asked excitedly. "Yes don't worry I think everyone's at school today so we can call interact then." Raven said as they finally arrived at school only 15 minutes late for class.
