Golden couple

Chapter 1

Waking up to an alarm in the morning is normal. Waking up to make sure your awake and up ready for the day is normal. But Waking up at six in the morning on a Sunday is not. Well not for most people but for me it's been my normal Sunday for over a year now since I started working. So that's exactly what I'm doing right now. Getting myself up and dressed after my alarm woke me up so I can get myself ready for work.

I dress into my usual black jeans with a white baggy top with hits of colour on along with my purple and blue convers. When done I grab my phone and then head to the bathroom to brush my teeth do my hair before putting my jacket on and grabbing my bag and leaving the house making sure not wake anyone else up thus early.

I go to catch my bus and once I'm on I sit myself upstairs listening to my music waiting to get to my stop.

Once at my stop I get off the bus and quickly make my way to McDonald's for my Sunday morning lata before making my way to work.

When I get in the stuff entrance I go up the stairs to our area go to changing rooms to change my top for my work shirt sort out my bag  putting it in my locker. Grab my headset put it in my pocket along with my pen and keys then grab my drink, finger print myself in and head downstairs to start tiding the store making sure it's ready to be opened in about 2 hours.

Don't ask why but I always get to work early especially Sundays. Which to be honest makes things easier for me and my team because it means when I'm doing my job with my manager in about hour then there's less to worry about when we do open.

When we do open I start helping and serving people like usual. Over the head set "Jenny somethings gone wrong with the cash and card machine again"

"Alright I'm on my way up" to my college Bex. "I'll be back down in bit"

"No problem" With that I head upstairs to the first floor and check to see what's going on. While I'm sorting it out I see my main manager Sam come over.

"So Christmas temps beauty and fragrance already have theirs. Till and Ops our getting theirs next week. So next week I'm having you on both Till slash a bit of Ops so we make sure our bit is always full."

"Alright sounds good. How many our Till getting with our temps?"

"So Ops are getting about fifteen and we're getting about ten"

"Thats a good amount. Are they all able to do helpful shifts or are only able to serton ones"

"No all been sorted they can all do good times ones to cover lunchtime and be here for early and late"

"Thank god for that" With that Sam gives me a smile and soon enough I'm able to sort out the machine again head back downstairs and see that another one of my colleagues have just started.

Sam always keeps me in the loop with what's going on with like people joining, leaving, offers and anything else that I need to know about.

When it's my break I decide head over to KFC for some food and bring it back sitting in the break room. While I'm eating the second manager that's in today Hannah walks in with someone behind her but honestly I haven't got a clue who it is. I've never seen them before. And trust me with how good-looking they are I would definitely remember seeing them before. When I'm looking at them he looks back at me giving me a small smile which is when I realise I've been stairing so I decide to look down and stair at the table like it's the most interesting thing ever. After I hear them both leave I finish my food and when my break is done I head back down to the floor.

As I'm helping people out in the corner of my eye I suddenly see that boy again from upstairs paying for a few items and then leaving but not without giving me one last smile.

Well won't be seeing him again

"Jess do you mind checking the resit in the last till please"

"Sure Jenny" With that Jess does that and I see Darcy come back and take where I am on the main tills so I can run round the place. Something im much better at.

Over the headset "Jenny you busy?"

"Whats up Fillipa?"

"Could you do an online refund up here quickly?"

"Be right up" with that I give Jess a look she gives me a nod and I head up running the first floor to the help the girls out.

Once we're finally closed we spend another hour tiding the store up making it look nice ready for opening tomorrow morning.

When we leave I go to catch the bus making sure to have my headphones on listening to music all the way home. As I'm making my way home I message my dad letting him know I'm on my way and to get me a drink out ready.

After I get home and have a few drinks with my family along with singing and some dancing with my older sisters they decided its time to take their partners and little ones home while me and my little sister decide to go hide in our rooms. When I do I decide to watch a movie till my eye lids get heavy and I full to sleep.
