A strange feeling came over Tim as he sat in class. It was like someone had been watching him but every time he looked around no one was there. He had learned long ago it was best to keep quiet, after all, he was pretty sure if he kept being so paranoid that he would be sent to Arkham. So instead he started out the window.
"Mr.Drake am I keeping you from something important?" The teacher asked jerking Tim back to reality.
"No sir!" he responded focusing on the board. The Teacher opened his mouth to continue only to be cut off by the ring of the bell.
"Class dismissed" he sighed and with that, the floodgates opened as students poured out of the door. Tim slipped into the stream of students so the teacher couldn't stop him. After what had seemed like forever he made it to his locker.
'Not that it mattered because I can't open the stupid thing' He sighed laying his head against the cool metal. The lock had jammed last week so he had to carry everything in his backpack. Speaking of his backpack it seemed awfully light right now.
"Tim!" He turned around to see a blonde-haired girl running after him "You left your book," She said holding out his books. Stephine Brown, the most beautiful girl in the world. At least to Tim, she was. Stephine was cool, funny confident everything he wasn't "Are you okay?"
"Huh, Oh yeah thank you," He said taking the books.
"You're welcome" She waved before running off "See you tomorrow she waved back
"See you tomorrow!" Tim yelled back after her.
