its around 11 pm and im in my room, scrolling on tiktok... my head, pounding and my eyes, tired. i was about to fall asleep when someone knocked on my door...
"yeah come in" i said, sitting up
"hey steph..." they said, sitting on the end of my bed
matt? what is he doing here at this hour?
"oh hey matt, what are you doing here? is everything okay?" i said, giving him my full attention
"yeah everything is fine, i just... i need to talk to you" he said, fidgeting with his fingers
and this couldn't wait? oh god it better be good.
"um, okay... whats up?" i said, scratching the back of my head
"so i know we've only been friends for a couple weeks, but..." he said, moving closer and grabbing my hands...
"i.. i think i'm in lov-"

i jolt awake and check the time, 8:23 am, monday, january 24th 2022
shit im so late... AND ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL?
i jump out of bed, and run to the bathroom to have a shower. about 15 minuets later, im in my room applying some mascara to my long lashes... thinking about the dream i had.
my mom leaves to drop felix off at school at like the crack of dawn, his teacher hate him being late... so im home alone, rushing around trying to get an outfit sorted...
"okay, this should be alright-" i said, getting interrupted by my phone, buzzing on my desk
