Eliza was in her bedroom finishing up her hair and makeup, of course she still had an hour before Nick picked her up. What could she say she was excited, what she couldn't say was what she should wear, he gave her absolutely no details when she asked him, he said, casual and dressy how was she meant to do that? So, she called him to see what he was wearing.

"Eliza?" the boy answered, "what's up love?"

"Oh, love huh?"

"If you want it to be" she could hear his smirk through the phone "did you need something?"

"Oh yes, what are you wearing" she questioned

"Right now? A towel" he replied

"As much as I'd love to see that," she responded, feeling her face get hot, "I meant tonight. Unless of course you only plan on wearing a towel on our date." she laughed, hoping he could hear her smirk through the phone.

"Well, I hate to disappoint, but I will not in fact be wearing a towel tonight." Nick joked back.

"Hmm shame." Eliza replied, resting her head on her hand.

"Why do you ask?" Nick laughed at her obvious attempt to pout.

"So, I know what to wear obviously." the girl scoffed.

"I already told you." He replied.

"You said dressy and casual that doesn't exactly narrow anything down."

"Right well," he paused thinking about his answer, in all honesty, he didn't even know what he was going to wear, so he made it up, "I'm going to wear a black turtleneck with jeans and black converse. Does that narrow it down?" Nick replied, smiling.

"Yes, it does, thank you!" the girl exclaimed.

"Well, what are you gonna wear?" the boy questioned.

"You'll just have to wait and see huh?"

"Woww" the Nick replied as she hung up.

After about 20 minutes Eliza decided on a light green baby doll dress and black converse to match Nicks.

"Soooo Liza?" Ang questioned as she walked towards the girl.

"Sooo Ang?" she replied matching the energy.

"Where are you going? All dressed up?"

"Well, if you must know, I have a date." Eliza paused "With Nick."

"I don't think I've ever seen you so excited for a date, fill me in on last night." Ang practically demanded.

"Okay okay, so" Eliza started "last night after you and Josh left Nick and I, we talked for about an hour, maybe two? Anyways, we talked about everything under the sun, then he asked me if I wanted to go outside, to which I agreed. So, we went outside, and he offered me a cigarette and we smoked, and then we talked about how neither of us believe in love, and guess what?"

"What" Ang replied on the edge of her seat

"I was honest and told him the exact reason." Eliza replied excitedly.

"What really? Youve never done that!" Ang exclaimed.

"I know!" Eliza replied "but when I'm with him it's like everything is justified, he gets me to open up."

"That's great Liza, but do you really think this could last?" Ang questioned worried for her friend.

"If I'm being completely transparent, I know this one is going to hurt, no matter how long we last, I don't know if I can let him go. " The girl replied, hoping he felt the same, little did she know, Nick and Josh had a remarkably similar conversation the night before. Unbeknownst to her, Nick was at the door, and he heard every word she said, he would never let her know that he heard it, or how much it meant to him, that the girl he had met not even twenty-four hours before, felt the exact same was he did. Then, he knocked. "Oh my god he's here."
