Another year at Hogwarts, everything was going smoothly, but not for Y/N, she missed Hermione, after all, they were best friends. Every day when she saw her, she recalled all the amazing times she spent with her. Harry and Ron didn't do much about it either. It was tough for everyone.
Y/N decided to gather her courage and talk to Hermione to sort out her life. But little did she know, Luna and Hermione were to be enemies, really bad ones. It seemed as if they were ready to tear each other apart for their love, Y/N. Not thinking much, Y/N dropped a note in Hermione's DADA (Defense against dark arts) textbook. Hermione, on reading the note was happy and decided to tell Luna that Y/N was soon to be in Hermione's life.
"MEET ME IN THE LIBRARY, AT 8:00 PM.
LOVE, Y/N"
On reading, this Luna was teary-eyed, she did not see that coming. But she trusted Y/N so she decided to observe what Y/N and Hermione were going to do.
7:45 PM
LUNA'S POV
I am waiting in the library for Hermione and Y/N to show up when I saw Hermione enter the library with an evil smirk on her face. "Today is the best day of my life." Hermione sang talk. She kept waiting for Y/N and unknowingly slept.
END OF LUNA'S POV
On waking up, Luna next witnessed Y/N and Hermione kissing each other. More like MAKING OUT. Luna had enough, she decided to stand up for herself, "Y/N!" A scream left Luna's mouth. Y/N and Hermione flinched. Y/N noticed Luna's eyes filled with tears, and her heart sank. Before Y/N could speak something Luna rushed out of the library crying. But they did not realize one thing, Argus Filch and his bloody cat Mrs. Norris saw the kids out of bed.
"Students out of bed!" He shouted and Hermione's worst nightmare came true... "What were you students thinking of?! Staying in the library in the dark, do you know how dangerous it is?! Especially when we have a criminal on the loose!" {Let's just imagine that this book is the Prisoner of Azkaban era}Said Mc Gonagall said with anger in her eyes "Detention to the 3 of you!" She continued.
BEFORE GOING TO THE RAVENCLAW DORM
"How can you be such a cheater!" Luna screamed, "And you, Hermione stop being a homewrecker!" She continued "Luna, listen-" Y/N tried to explain. "I don't want to listen to anything! I can't believe you cheated with this two-faced b*tch" Luna said cutting Y/N off. "Stop it, Luna! I've had enough, I lost my best friend because of you! Hermione has done nothing but loved me unconditionally! And is this the amount of trust I gained this year? I can't be with you! Y/N said. Luna realized her mistake and the scene played back in her mind "I know what you're thinking about." Hermione said "Y/N did not kiss me, I kissed her she did not kiss me back. I'm sorry." She continued. Y/N and Hermione left for their dormitories leaving Luna to herself as a crying mess.
