Prologue chapter 1

I don't like school. Especially not this school. I'm a sophomore at the highschool of Supernatural Quirks and Studies, or SQS for short. A school built with the intention to unite people of all kinds, but it ended up becoming some elite place for the best of the best and the richest of the richest. I don't like this school, I don't like it's entitled little little rats it refers to as students and I definitely don't like the sun burning in my face at 7:30 in the morning while I'm on my way to my least favorite day of the year: The introduction. I enter the school and walk straight to my locker to grab more sunscreen before heading to class. Suddenly I feel a weight on my shoulder.
"Vance Jesus Christ dude..." I turn around to find a panting blonde with pointy ears and freckles across the bridge of his nose.

"Hi," I dryly answer. "Hi," he mimics in a weird voice, "Not even a 'hi Noah it's sooo good to see you' or even a 'fuck off it's too early for this shit'?" Nope, not even that, it's too early for me to deal with his energetic ass. I proceed the long journey to the sunscreen while Noah Russell hops after me, ranting about how boring summer was. "Anyways, how was your summer?" I hear as I put some more sunscreen on my face. "Too short," I reply, "what classroom are we in?" "Math." "'Math' isn't a classroom, idiot." I put the sunscreen back and look at the screen of Noah's phone while he looks where we're supposed to go. As soon as the number fifteen pops up, my day becomes a little less bad. It's a classroom that has both a clear view of the school's courtyard and no direct sunlight until the evening, when the light becomes bearable. And on top of that, it seems like we'll arrive soon enough for me to reclaim my usual spot in the back of the classroom. Perfect. "classroom 15." "Okay, let's go."
