The Walls Are Breathing. [WIP!]

Four Steps Away

Thump. Thump. Thump.

There was a screech of a horrid creature that seemed to be about 6 meters away, and it was headed in the boys direction, and fast. All three boys were abruptly woken up by the spine-chilling noise, and it was still pitch black in the moldy halls. Ranboo immediately got up and started barricading the door with the counter that he had pushed over. He stumbled back quietly, looking at Tommy and Tubbo to make sure they stayed quiet, and they sure as hell did. Tommy and Tubbo were clung to each other, keeping their mouths shut as they stayed as far away from the door as they could.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

The thumps started to get louder, the creature screeching more as it kept shuffling its way around the walls.
"We need a plan of escape." Ranboo whispered, "Since the door is blocked off, there is that crawl space we can go through where the lamp came from." The two other boys nodded as they got up, still quietly holding hands as they waited, hoping that the creature would pass.

Crash. CRACK. Crash.

The monster did not pass by like they had hoped, it was in fact trying to break open the door. Tommy audibly gasped, soon leading Tubbo to the crawl space as Ranboo looked over and nodded, grabbing the bag and looking back at the door.

CREAK. CRACK.

They only had minutes before the door was broken. Tubbo and Tommy were in the crawl space, slowly but surely crawling there way through the hole and to whatever room was awaiting them.

SMASH.

The door was broken open, Ranboo was only a few feet away from running and hiding in the crawl space, but it seemed like miles. The creature was a bit taller than Ranboo, looking like it was made up of a bunch of cables and wiring, roaring loudly in the boys ears. It rushed towards Ran, but Ranboo did not turn his back. He stood there, wanting to protect his best friends as he whipped the bag around and hit the cable creature right in its chest, mildly damaging it. Which let Ranboo stall some time to run into the crawl space, throwing his bag in as he army crawled his way in. But the creature was not down for long, soon headed right towards Ranboo as it tried to grab his leg and--

It only took his shoe, since Ranboo had worn a pair of shoes that were just a bit bigger than his feet the day of the Mall trip. He crawled through to the other side where Tom and Tubbo were standing. Their eyes in awe of what they saw, as it was not the old, brown carpets or bright yellow walls. But in fact it was-
