Chapter 4: NIGHTMARE.

Five children

that's how many went missing that day. y/n remembers that day quite vividly. of course, he would, it was his birthday after all. one of the people who had gone missing that day was his friend, Nicole. y/n didn't remember much about what had happened to her. all he remembers is that she and a bunch of other kids followed someone in a yellow suit. he didn't get to go with them because his mother called for him.

it was honestly a stroke of luck that he had survived that day. he needed something like that now. y/n decided to do some online research on the place to see if he could find anything. he found out that there was an older place in the 70s named "FredBears Family Diner." it was closed down after a dead body was found outside of the place.  in 1983, the first Freddy Fazbear's would appear but it would soon find tragedy after a child got his head shoved into an animatronic's mouth and proceeded to get his skull crushed. he died of his injuries two days later.

then, in 1985, the place would close down after 5 children went missing. that was the day Nicole and the other four kids went missing. that lead to the place closing down. it wouldn't be until 1987 that the place would open up once more. It was a whole new place with new animatronics. things were going fine until more children started to disappear. then there was the bite of 87.

a man named Jeremy Fitzgerald was attacked during his shift one day by an animatronic. the attack resulted in his whole frontal lobe being taken out. the place got closed down, which forced the company to open up the old place. the place where y/n was currently working at. they didn't have a high budget anymore so they were forced to repair the old animatronics.

none of this answered why the animatronics did what they did at night though. y/n also didn't find any information on any other night guards who have worked at Freddy's. which means either they're alive and don't want to talk about their experiences...or they simply all died.

y/n: god damn it! all this creepy shit and yet none of it explains why those furbots kill people!

y/n sat down and stared at his computer for a while longer before sighing to himself and shutting it off. he decided to quickly call Tina up to see how she was doing. she answered within the third ring.

Tina: "Hey y/n! what's up?"

Y/n: nothing. just felt like hearing a friend's voice.

Tina:"...are you alright? you sound tired."

Y/n: it's just my job. working from 12 to 6 has me a little worn down.

Tina: "damn. they really are working you to death!"

Y/n: "if only she knew."

Tina: "well, listen. I got to get to my own job in a bit. you should sleep before your next shift starts!"

Y/n: yeah, you're right. I'll see you later. bye!

Tina: "Bye!"

Y/n hung up the phone before yawning. he definitely was in need of some shut-eye. if he went to his job sleepy then the animatronics might get to him. he quickly put on a plain white t-shirt and pajama pants before dumping himself onto his bed and setting an alarm for 10:00 AM. he closed his eyes and snoozed off.

Y/n woke up to the sound of static coming from the TV just off of the foot of the bed. he immediately knew something was wrong. the TV was turned off before he went to sleep. he was about to get up and look around his room when the TV started to play something.
