Chapter 3

After the doctor left, Vilu and Emily (Mrs. Vagras) went in to Leon's room. Pablo, German, Lily and me where the only one's outside, because it was like 5 a.m.

- Do you need anything? A coffee or ? - German stood up.

- A coffee. - Both of me and Pablo agreed.

- Lily, would you help me? - He asked and the girl was very happy. Pablo sat next to me.

- You know... After I saw you today with Lily... Putting away your fears and worries just to make someone happy... I think you'll be a great mother sooner or later... - This made me smile. I hugged him for long minutes.

- You know it means a lot, right? - I whispered into his ear.

- I love you, Angie. Your my bestest friend I could have ever asked for... - His voice was shaking. He had tears in his eyes. I knew that even though I didn't see his face...

-Pablo... I don't know what's going on but I can't stand to watch you like this anymore.

- Don't worry about me, okay? - he broked the hug and wiped some tears away.

Before I could have respond, German came back with the coffees.

- Angie! We bought you coffee! - Lily exulted.

- Well, thank you very much. - I took my coffee from her tiny hand. She just giggled.

- You okay? - German sat to my other side.
- Sure. - I sighed. - Or not. - I took a ship from my drink and German put his arm around me. I laid my head to his shoulder and he squeezed me which made me smile. I looked over Pablo and Lily. They were laughing by his jokes.
Then Emily came out and she came to us.
- How is he? - I asked.
- He's in coma, but the doctor said that he will wake up soon. Max 3-4 days.
- Mummy - Lily went up to her with opened arms.
- Oh sweetie... - Emily squated down and hugged back her daughter. It was heartwarming. And I was there sitting beween my guys. I was happy and sad at the same time. I mean it was a really long night and everyone was so depressed and...
My phone started to vibrate. It was my morning alarm.
- It's already 7:20. - I sighed.
- Pablo, Angie. Go home, I'll call Antonio, okay? Pablo, if you want to, stay at ours. - I lifted up my head and I looked over Pablo.
- Thanks. - I smiled at him tiredly. He really was my best choice ever. German came with us out and Pablo sat in the car while we were saying goodybye.
- I love you. - He said with full of meaning with mealted my heart. I kissed his lips with the all love I had for him.
- I love you too. - I said to him. - Call me, okay? - He nodded.
- See you at home. - He kissed my forehead and I made my way back to the car. I looked back once more and sat in.
- You OK? - Pablo asked.
- I... It's stupid.. - I answered.
- Hey. You can tell me. - He smiled.
- Well.. Since I kissed German in my room... I havn't slept without him.
- If you want, I can sleep with you. - I just smiled at him and I started to drove home.

After like 20 minutes we arrived and we went inside the house.
- Miss Angie! - Cried Olga.
- Olgita. - I smiled and I hugged her.
- What happend? - She asked.
- Leon.. He had an operation because he fell off his motor. German and Vilu stayed there with his family. - I said. Pablo stayed close to me.
- He's sleeping over, as we want to go back to them later. - I said to Olga and we started to go upstairs. I changed my clothes and I took my place in the bed. Pablo lied down too and put his arm around me.
- You okay? - He asked.
- Sure.. I mean it was a long night and I'm really tired and I'm worried about Leon and Vilu and... - I took a big breath but some tear escaped again.
- Shhh... - He pulled me closer and hugged me. - It's gonna be okay. It's all gonna be okay. Don't worry to much... - As I relaxed, I just hugged him back. He really is the bestest friend ever. We fall asleep in each other's hugs.

****Time Skip****

When I woke up, I couldn't find Pablo anywhere. I dressed up and went down the stairs to the kitchen for some tea.
- You awake! - Pablo cheered as he saw me and kissed my cheek.
- Hey. - I smiled at him sleepily. - What are you doing?
- Cooking some eggs. Want some? - He ask.
- Sure. - I said and I started to took out the plates.
- What's happening here? - Olga cryed.
- Pablo making eggs. - I smiled.
- You could have asked me!
- Sorry... I forgot. I have to cook on my own at home. - Olga left the room. I brust out laughing.
- Huh.. - I catched my breathe. - What time is it? - I asked.
- It's about 10 am. - he said and putted the frying pan on the table. We started to eat.
- Thanks for the night. - I said with full of meaning.
- Angie... You shouldn't thank that. This is what are friends for, aren't they? - He smiled.
- They are. - I took his hand and we ate the rest in slience. After I putted the plates and forks in the sink, I heard my phone was ringing.
- Hello? - I said as I answered the phone.
- Hey. - I heard German's voice. - Slept well? - He asked.
- Not really. How's Leon?
- Better. He woke up, that's why I'm calling. Vilu wanted, but I said she can go to him instead. - I went up to our room so we could talk privat. Not like I have something to hide, I just don't like talking in front of people.
- Good. I missed you... I can't sleep without you.. - I said.
- Tonight I will be next to you, I promise honey. - I smiled a little.
- I'm going to ask Pablo, but I'm going to the hostipal for a while. - I said and I lay down on the bed.
- You don't have to. - He said and I argued.
- But I want to.
- If you talk to Pablo, tell him that the doctor searched for him. - I sat up immadietly.
- Why?
- I-I... I think you should ask him... - He hesitated.
- German! - I was kind of shocked by he didn't wanted me to know.
- I can't! Ask him. Please? - Now he begged. It has to be very serious.
- Okay... - I acquieced.
- Angie... I love you! But I think it's better if tells you.
- Okay! I gotta go. Bye. - I hang up the phone and I started to think. What can it be?
- Pablo! - I called him. I heard heavy footsteps on the stairs.
- Yeah? - He came in to the room.
- I need to ask you something.
- Okay. - He closed the door and sat next to me. - What were you doing in the hospital yesterday? - He seemed like he didn't want to tell me. - I spoke with German... He said the doctor was looking for you? - He sighed.
- What did he tell you? - He asked.
- I want to hear from you, Pablo. - If I would have told him that I don't know amything, he might wouldn't told me the truth.
- It all started about a month ago... I often got migraine so 2 weeks later I went to a doctor and he examined me thoughly. And he... - He had tears in his eyes. I put my hand on his shoulder.
- Pablo... - He took a big breath.
- I have cancerous growth in my brain... He.. Um. He don't know yet if it is malignant growth... - He looked down. - When he said that he wanted to speak with me, I-I couldn't stay there, I ran out! - I'm still not sure what I felt in that moment. There was a horrible pain in my chest. Tears were running down on my cheeks but I just couldn't stop them. I hugged him with all my love I had for him.
