Chapter 1:) The Boy

Math was so boring... i just couldn't stand it... i focused my atteninion to my silverish white colored hair... The color that the great demon hunter Dante had. Dante was a half demon that. It's been said that he fought against the highest priest Sanctus himself. I looked up to that man Dante. He could turn into a demon without even trying. He was said to carry around 3 guns and a sword. The guns were the infamous Ebony and Ivory and a regular shot gun. i couldn't remember the namelf his sword's nameif my life depended on it. Why couldn't i remember?
The hair on my arms and the back of my neck stood in end. He was back. I looked out the window. There he was. He always was during this hour. Every single day. I never knew his name. He beckoned to me with that hand. The hand that was shaped kind of like a demon's claw and glowed a light blue. Then it was red. It felt like I was being drawn to him. He had the same slivery white hair as me. And his eyes. His eyes were the deepest blue that you'd ever seen. He looked about 19. He was alomst 35 yards away, but I could still see every detail of him. the way his eyes almost glowed with deep passion and the way light rays scattered as they hit his hair.  and the way his lips formed one word. ROSE. he said it 3 time.
Rose.
Rose.
Rose.
"Rose!" my best friend Jayne said shaking my shoulder to get my attention.
"Wha?!" i stuttered locking my glowing blue eyes on her.
"You spaced out again. C'mon! Shawn and Austin are waiting for us outside. and you know how Shawn gets when you keep him waiting.," she babbled.
"Y-yeah. I'll be there in a sec. Tell them that I have to fix my make-up. I really do." i mumbled. picking up my compact mirror and eyeliner.
"Kay. They won't be too happy. but i'll tell them." she muttered walking off. i quickly flicked the cap off and fixed my eyeliner with incredable speed. I put the cap back ont the pencil. imlooked up at where the guy was at but he was gone. I shrugged and got my stuff. Shawn rolled his eyes when he saw me. he always did.
"Dante the demon hunter distract you again?" He asked rudely.
"y-yeah..." i said trailing off.
"whatever." he said.
"yeah whatever." i said back. things between us had gotten tense lately.
"Hey Rose, you eating by the trees again?" Austin whispered to me as i grabbed my lunch.
"Yeah. You?" i replied.
"Duuh.." he joked.
"Lol wow Austin. C'mon lets go. Shawn's tryna kill me with invisible daggers right now." i said.
"okay." me and shawn walked to our usual spot. right below the tree that guy was by.
"He was here again wasn't he?" Austin asked in a monotone voice.
"Yeah. hes always here.beckoning to me with that clawed hand. but i never know what he wants or why."
"maybe hes a relative. you did say once that his hair was just like yours. maybe hes your brother or something."
"no. i have only heard from my mother that I have a twin sister named Jayde. and I'm pretty sure that i'm 100%  human, Austin." i said looking up. "AH SHIT!" i said covering up my burning eyes.
"Here, put these on," shawn quickly said taking off his sunglasses and putting them over my eyes. i just nodded and sqeezed my eyes shut.

Dante POV
I watched as my "best friend" took his sun glasses off and pushed them on Rose's face. "uch!" i growled turning away.
"what now Shawn?" Jayne asked.
"nothin. its just annoying how they keave us out of everything."
"You." Jayne remarked flatly.
"what?'' i asked confused.
"they leave you out of everything. Not me. not us. Just you," she replied locking her hazel eyes on me.
"why?"
"you've made no effort to be Rose's friend since you guys broke up. all you've done is be a jack ass to her. Teasing her about Dante, when you know that she looks up to him. Grumbling about how she spends too much time at his grave site. You're the reason why her and Austin are so close."
"I-I really do that?" i stuttered.
"yeah ya do. "
"i never realized." i pulled out my phone.
"To: Rosey Boo.
Rosey Boo, we need 2 talk. its imprtnt"
"From: Rosey Boo
Dn't call me tht. nd Kool whr nd whn. no whr 2 brght cz my eyes cnt hndl brght lght."

K. old lbrry on the othr side of twn. 5 oclk tnght. see u thr... hopefully"

i decided to skip the rest of the day knowing that i would only piss Rose off more if i stayed. i just sat outside kf the new coffee shop.
"hey there snake bites." i heard avioce say.
" Vergil." i said simply.
"you got that right mate. so you're not skipping out on your duties of protecting little Rosey are you?"
"Why should i keep protecting her when she hates me? i have no influence over her any mor. and learn my name or don't call me anything." i replied bluntly.
"Oh but Dante, she doesnt hate you. She idolizes you...."
"Damnit  Vergil! My Name is Not Dante anymore! It's Shawn Now... "
"Why Such a boring name little brother? your Not going soft on me and father Now are you?"
"No! It's just part of my cover up to figure out if she's one of Us. I believe that Nero has been showing up here. She been distracted lately."
"I agree. I believe that She is One of us as she has the hair and eyes. But I Relive that she is a full blood not a half blood like us. Test her when you see her tonight."and with that my older brother was gone. it was 3:30 i started heading over tothe old abandoned library where i was currently staying at.. Hey dln't judge me. i have no one.and this poor human whose body that k'm usingas a vessle's family would know that i'm not him. sowhen he moved out i struck and stole control of his body. he's a fighting little bitch but, i'm half demon. so i'm a thousand time stronger. stepping in the building i pushed thoughts of Rose and  Vergil out of my mind.
"Hey Shawn?" i thought.
"what?" he replied weakly.
"don't worry. You'll have control of your body back soon."
"when?''
"as early as tonight. ut hey. you havent used your body in what 6 months so i'll let you get used to your body again now. but i swear you try to run or resist when i try to vessle you again, i will send the wrath of a thosand demons down on your ass."
"i I wont run or fight. How long till Rosey get here?" i unvessled his body and caught him before he fell.
"you've got an hour and a half." i said bluntly. he hobbled arou d for a while as he hot used to himself again.
"why are you here? everyone thinks that you're dead Dante." he said sitting down.
"i'm here because i believe that Rose is in danger."
"by who?!"
" Vergil."
"your brother?"
"yes. he wished to steal here inner demoness if she is a full blood."
"Demoness? Full blood?"
"Demoness: a female demon. Full Blood: has no human in her at all. Now has she ever talked about a guy about your age watching her lately?"
"uhh, yeah. once right befire you vessled me. shhe said that he was beckoning for her to follow him."
"well his name is Nero. Protector of the innocent. he is here to help her reach her full potential. if she is full blooded."
"oh!" he gasped getting up and walking over to a book case about demonology and picking a book simply titled 'Nero'.
"it says here that once every 17 years Nero comes down to earth to protect the full bloods from defecting from their path of righteousness. and that this started in the 1600's. I always believed that this was always a folklore legend. so that makes Nero 4,015 years old?! and you even older?"
"bluntly put, but yes. and that makes Rose's soul just as old." i said as he closed the book.
"i'm used to my body now. you can revessle me now." he said. i wa n are so close." (Wtf did I mean?!)
