Malfoy watched Umbridge, Harry, and Hermione leave; the office door clicking shut. He was drumming both his own and Harry's wand against his leg, then swayed around, trying to hide his pouting face behind arrogance.
Eyeing all of them, he caught Allison's gaze at last, and she quickly tried to keep a natural face so as to not reveal her enthusiasm – yes, she had no idea what Hermione was exactly up to, but she surely had a plan to escape from Umbridge.
"What are you looking at?" spat Malfoy, stepping closer.
"Are you mad because Umbridge doesn't like you as much as you thought she would?" asked Allison, pouting her lip.
"She left me in charge to watch you lot, alright?" he said, gritting his teeth, "and to you, that's Professor or Headmistress – twenty points from Gryffindor."
"Oh, right, I almost forgot you could do that! Do it again, please!"
"You want to be an insufferable brat, fine!" He grabbed Allison's shoulder, hurled her against Umbridge's desk, and pointed his wand at her.
A harsh pain throbbed through her body where her hip had come in contact with the desk's sharp edge. Allison rubbed her neck, which hurt when she swallowed, but everything was better than being held by Nott, who was also drawing his wand.
Allison grinned. Oh, she could be insufferable and annoying just fine.
"You wanna show Umbridge that you're a big boy now and can come along next time? Want to 'Crucio' me? Quick question, did daddy teach you that one or did she?"
"Shut up!" He yelled and rushed forward, pushing his wand against her neck.
She leaned back as far as possible, his expensive perfume making it almost unbearable to breathe.
"Leave – her – alone," Ron screwed out, gasping for air, but Malfoy didn't listen.
His dark grey eyes pierced into Allie's, full of irrational anger and hate, and she knew that he was debating which curse to use first on her.
"At least give Allison her wand back before you attack her!" said Ginny loudly.
"He won't," said Allison, "because he knows he'd lose."
Malfoy bared his teeth, breathing heavily. "Nott, give her the wand," he said then.
Nott stared at him like he had lost his mind. "You wanna listen to that Weasel-girl? If you're too much of a coward to hurt her, I volunteer. I still have a score to settle with her anyway and I like it better when they can't fight back –"
Impatiently, Malfoy darted at him and pulled Allison's wand from the inside of Nott's robe before throwing it at her. "Let her lose with her wand in hand if she wants to."
Malfoy left a few feet between them, wand pointed at her. Allison did the same. For a moment, everyone was silent. The tension was graspable, suffocating. She did not dare to look away for even a split second. Then, just as Malfoy opened his mouth, Allison yelled, "Stupor!". Two red spells came shooting out of their wands and as they hit in the middle of the room, she ripped her wand upwards.
Their spells collided with the wall, and a hundred plates with kittens on them fell to the floor. It was a terrible sound; meowing and shrieking, the porcelain breaking on the stone floor, and the Inquisitorial Squad was taken by surprise so much that Ron, Neville, and Ginny finally broke free from their grips. Nott had jumped forward to avoid being hit on the head with dozens of plates and had accidentally pulled Malfoy to the ground; his and Harry's wand were now rolling over the ground.
Snooping them away right in front of Malfoy's flabbergasted face, Allison threw them across the room to Ron and Ginny.
"Take! Their! Wands! AWAY!" cried Malfoy, shoving Nott off of him, but in the few seconds he took to get back on his feet, Ron had Stunned Warrington, who slumped back against the wall, and Ginny had taken down the Slytherin girl that had captured her.
