It's been a few days since they came to JMA and a few days Winter hasn't confessed to Qibli, right now Winter was heading to the history cave with his winglet but he was little bit far behind them watching Qibli talk to Moon.
Winter: 'Ok Winter it's time to tell him... geez how should I approach this'
As he was thinking of ways to finally tell Qibli his feelings, he didn't notice that he was heading straight for Icicle. With no time to react they crashed into each other, Winter grunts as he fell to the ground and Icicle hissed at him for making her drop some of her scrolls.
Icicle: Why you low rank piece of shit!
Winter growled at her and stood back up then look at his slowly disappearing winglet, he tries running after them but Icicle steps on his tail stopping him.
Icicle: And where do you think you're going? Pick up my scrolls.
Winter: I don't have time for this, do it yourself.
Icicle didn't take kindly to Winter talking back at her so she grabbed him and shoved him against the wall. Winter groaned in pain and tried to free himself.
Icicle: What gives you the right to talk back to me?! A future Queen!
Winter glared at Icicle, he grew tired of always hearing Icicle say that she would make a better queen than Snowfall or Glacier. In his opinion he would want any other Icewing to be Queen, he let's out a whine when Icicle grabbed him by the neck and began to apply pressure to it but before anymore damage could be done Qibli suddenly appeared and tackled her away from Winter. Winter coughs as he fell down, Turtle came running to him and helped him stand back up they look at Qibli and found him shouting at a retreating Icicle.
Qibli: If you ever come near him again, I will kill you!!!
He huffs and walked up to Winter.
Qibli: You ok?
Winter: I'm a bit sore but no damage done.
Qibli: Good. Turtle head to the others and tell that Winter is alright.
Turtle nods and left, Qibli presents his talon to Winter who happily accepts it then guided him to the rest of their winglet. Winter blushed at how close he was to Qibli, he felt his tail lightly brash against Qibli's and couldn't help but wrap his tail around Qibli's.
Winter: 'This is it come on say it' Qibli?
Qibli: Yeah?
Winter: I-um uh geez I'm bad at this.
Qibli: Bad at what?
Winter: I-it's nothing... Thanks for saving me.
Qibli: Of course but I haven't full saved you yet.
Winter nods, saving him from Icicle was just a small step to Qibli and the real goal was to save him from his family. But a thought passed through Winter mind, after his free where will he go? He could live with Qibli and Thorn but he also wanted to stay with his Aunts.
Winter: 'Maybe they can adopt me?'
