A COLD YET BEAUTIFUL RELATIONSHIP (QINTER)

Chapter 9

Winter placed the bowl of mixed spices down then began cutting the fruits, while doing so he kept on glancing at Moon and Qibli. Moon told Qibli something that made him laugh but Winter could see a small blush on Moon's cheeks and he silently growled at her.

Winter: 'She's trying to steal my Qibli from me!'

Winter shook his head, he shouldn't be that possessive of Qibli it was unhealthy and creeping. He finished cutting the fruits then went to grab some vegetables while he's at it, he also grabbed some honey. Icicle who has been silently watching Winter cook was amazed by her little brother's skills, Winter mixed the honey with the fruits then poured the spice mix he prepared onto the meat he also brought back. He places the meat in the furnace then grabbed two stones and smacked them together to start a fire.

Clay: It would seem that Icicle and Winter are the first pare to use the furnace.

Winter blushed under the attention he was getting from the others and looked away, Icicle laughed at him and Winter looked at her with a pout.

Icicle: Sorry... ya know you look cute when you pout.

Winter: N-no I Don't!!!

Icicle: Oh come on, you know it and I think your boyfriend knows as well.

Winter raised an eyebrow then looked behind him to see Qibli looking at him, Qibli blushed and quickly turned around when he noticed Winter looking at him. Winter blushed he noticed Qibli's blush before he turned around and started whispering to himself.

Winter: He blushed! Maybe he knows about my crush on him. Maybe he has a crush on me?

Icicle: Well well well, what's that I hear? My little brother's in love with a Sandwing.

Winter: N-no I-um I... please don't hurt me.

Winter covered himself with his wings waiting to get a beating from Icicle for loving Qibli. Icicle on the other hand flinched back in discomfort, she was doing so well talking to Winter now he's scared of her again, did she really hurt him that badly?

Icicle: 'Of course I hurt him that badly. I need to apologize'

She gently touched her whipping brother and hugged him, Winter stopped shaking and stood there waiting for Icicle to let him go.

Icicle: Winter... I'm sorry.

Winter: W-what?

Icicle: I'm sorry for all the beatings and abuse I made you go through all these years.

Winter: W-why now?! Why today do you want to apologize?!

Icicle: Because I finally realized why... and it's all mo- No she's not my mother neither is she yours.

Winter: So Tundra is the reason why you abused me?

Icicle: Yes and I'm very very sorry, I knew it will be hard to earn your forgiveness but.... please just think about it.

Winter: ....Ok.

With that the two siblings went back to work, Winter grabbed the meat from the Furnace and he was surprised to see that it wasn't burnt. He grabs the fruit and honey mix and poured it all over the meat then placed it back in the furnace.
