It had been a year since the death of Paige and weird things had been happening to the Walker family, they were getting threats and sent pictures of the dead body and of Paige's grave and a shovel next to it. Zack was angry and still hadn't got through his grief, Allie was turning four and was starting to understand her mother was gone, Mia and Chloe were grieving but had taken on the roles of mother for Allie.

Allie tortured Zack her laugh and smile, put him right back a year ago with his once happy girlfriend, who he was meant to marry and grow old with and have kids with, but she had died two months before their set date for the wedding. He doubted she killed her self, and now with the stalker at midst and the blackmail, he was sure she had been murdered. But by who, nobody knew.

Mia and Chloe had begged him to stop with the wild goose chase and focus on his daughter who needed him and move on. But he couldn't he was trapped in a spiral of grief and anger, directed at the world for stealing her and his unborn baby from him. The hospital had confirmed she was pregnant and she had been around 12 weeks at her time of death, meaning there was no way they could have saved the baby if she had been found sooner.

He was angry with the police for making him wait twenty four hours, a whole day, to file a missing persons report and for taking so long. If they had listened when he'd rang at 6pm the day she'd died, she could have been saved along with the baby.

He didn't know how to cope, so he stayed away from Paige's parents and Allie and just drank his way through the depression. Sinking lower and lower, digging his self a deeper whole he had to climb out of eventually.

"Paige, I miss you." He whispered as he stood at her grave that was decorated with flowers and messages, a Tottenham scarf wrapped around the headstone, a mother gnome, a nurse gnome and a football ornament pushed into the earth above her grave. She had loved being a mother, being a nurse and loved her football team Tottenham Hotspurs.

"I still love you. I know you didn't do this to yourself. I know someone did this to you and I promise you I'll find out who. Allie's almost four, I can barely look at her, she looks so much like you. Her laugh is just like yours." He got up to walk away but saw someone, in jeans and a black hoodie holding flowers and a big bag. His curiosity didn't take hold and he shrugged his suspicions off and headed home to his family, he vowed to get better to his dead Fiancée and get better he would.

Allie's birthday was in two weeks and Zack and Chloe were taking her to Paige's grave before her party, so she could see her mother and feel close. Mia said she wasn't ready to go yet, she was still struggling a year later, she struggled at the funeral and wake and at the cemetery when she was buried she had to say her piece and ended up breaking down holding Allie.

Every time they spoke of it she freaked out and stormed off, her mind flicking back to the burial. Like it was now, Allie had asked her to come and she had just walked into her room and slammed the door and cried. The flashback began as she laid on her bed.

The rain poured down and everyone there was soaked and shivering, but none cared, they were there to say goodbye and that was what they were doing. Zack was holding hands with his sister Francesca on one side and with Chloe on the other, Mia held a 3 year old Allie tight and Mr and Mrs Walker clung to each other tightly.

The priest began his speech about how he had known her since she was a little girl and that she was full of life and she had had her moments and that she would be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her. He asked Mia to step forward who was the listed speaker as Zack and Chloe wouldn't. She took a deep breath, pressed a kiss to the toddler in her arms and cleared her throat.

"Paige was my best friend since we were in nursery when we were only four and since then we did everything together. As we grew older so did our bond and we grew closer, we were like sisters and she was my best friend. We did everything together, we danced and we played, we even got bullied together but it didn't matter to me because I knew she cared even if nobody else did. She saved me from my abusive father after my mother died and I got to watch her become a mother at sixteen and do an amazing job. I watched her meet the man of her dreams and make memories and I am so glad I knew her. I love her and I'll always miss her."

Mia had started to shake through her sobs at the end and Allie wiped her cheeks as they stepped back into the crowd, Chloe hugged her close as Zack unexpectedly stood forward.

"I had met Paige when we were thirteen and instantly I knew I fell for her, literally. Me and my mates were running and I caught her eye and tripped over, I lost the race but I knew in that moment she was my soulmate and I had won that. But now it's like all my good memories have gone of her and all I remember are the dark and scary bits. I know that she loved me and that I still love her and I always do."

After his unexpected speech he had kissed Allie's head, shook hands with Mr and Mrs Walker and left to go home.

A/N - I cringed writing this chapter, I hate Tottenham with a vengeance, it's my fathers football team and I'm a Liverpool supporter.
