Chaejin spent the next day in Kai's bed, in too much pain to even get up. Hearing her phone ring for the third time since morning she decided to answer, hello?
Chae, where are you?
Hearing her worried best friend on the phone Chaejin instantly broke down into sobs, Chae, what's going on? Did he hurt you again?
Y-yes.
Don't worry. I'm coming over.
Don't. He's still angry and I don't want him to take out his frustration on me again. I'm hurting.
Chae, you needed to get out of this.
You already know I can't.
Yes you can. No matter what, even if your secret is told and nobody's gonna take you as their real friends anymore, remember that I'll always be here.
Her crying got even louder, hearing what her best friend was saying to her. Only thought running through her head after that conversation how did I get a friend like this?
She hung up after talking to her for a little while and that's when her boyfriend entered the room, smiling at her. "W-What do you want??"
Immediately as she uttered those words, his face turned into a scowl, "I have someone coming over so shut it."
You nodded in oblivion before resting your head back against the white and green pillow, that's when you heard the front door of the apartment opening and Kai greeting someone in the nicest tone ever, you open YouTube on your phone so that you'd be able to get away from your sorrows.
When you opened your eyes once more you felt extremely hungry. So leaving your phone on the bed you got up still in agony and slowly stepped out of the room. Walking on your tippy toe to get to the fridge in the kitchen, you heard a shift from the other bedroom across from the room you emerged from. You were afraid that it was your boyfriend coming out but seeing a young woman leaving the room and stopping by the door. You saw her turn around and peck your boyfriend so you bend down behind the counter praying that you wouldn't be seen when she was leaving the house.
Seeing him stand at the door watching her leave made her heart stink even more.
Dominantly heading down the stairs of his basement, his pistol in his hand, he stood behind a guy tied to the chair. "Talk." He growled making the man shudder in more fear. "I...,I didn't kill him. W...we were at the site and he was working closer to the edge and a drunk worker c..came and hit leading to the man falling off."
He started laughing, "For a moment, I actually believed the lie but that's until I realized that you were a liar from birth." Slowly he spun the gun's tip in thee man's head and rested his finger gently on the trigger, "Any last words?"
"Guess not, ok. Job's much easier." Pressing the gun more into the man's head, he squeezed the trigger before a loud noise making the other people in the room cover their ears.
The man on the chair body went slump before dark red liquid starting to gush out of his head and leaking out through his mouth. Walking away, Jimin winced, "Ah, poor thing."
Turning his head in the direction of the people on the standby, he nodded before they ran over to the body releasing it from the ropes, they opened the white bag before lifting his body into the bag before zipping it up carrying it outside.
After seeing the body placed in the bag and the men passing him carrying it up, followed behind them daring to shoot if they did anything dumb.
Clearing the stairs to his basement, the men headed to the entrance followed by the cleaners, mops and containers filled with blood. "Is it all cleaned??"
"Yes sir."
Grabbed a cigarette from his jacket, he brought out his lighter, lighting the tip of the cigar before heading out to his balcony.
After a few days, the beating marks I had on my skin had descended down which meant I could head back to school, since the day the girl came to out house I haven't had a proper conversation and that didn't too really bother me because I didn't want to talk to him, I wanted to get away.
Grabbing my bag from the couch I headed to the door before stopped hearing my name being called. Stopping in my tracks, I exhaled a breath, tears threatening to leave my eyes. "What?"
I turned around to look at my boyfriend standing at his doorway, without a top on and his black sweatpants hanging onto his small waist. He walked up to me resting his hands on my waist, "Babe, I'm sorry."
Placing my hands over his I pushed him off, "Please, leave me alone."
Obliging, he stepped away abd quickly spun around heading to the door. After closing the doors, the tears that I have been holding finally burst from the walls holding them in.
I quickly wiped them, not to draw any attention to me since the other tenants would be coming down.
Chaejin headed down the stairs gripping onto her bag strap. Not hearing the kids that were running down the stairs, they pushed her.
