"Hello! Minho hyung? Can you buy some skewers on the way? I think Jisung forgot to check the stocks last week. Ummm.  and, also, hand towels. Yes. The big ones. Okay. Thanks, Hyung."

After Jisung moved in, he bought a small apartment just down the street across his brother's. He didn't want to stay away from them but also, wanted to give them privacy. All these years without Chris wasn't easy. But, thanks to his brother and Ji, he pulled it through. They always been caring and checked up on him time to time.

He thought Chris will come back after some time. He thought Chris would show up "boom" in any minute with his wings. But, days to months, months to year, he felt desperate. He felt lonely. He was broken.

Didn't he love me?
Did he forget about me?

Until Remiel came by.

Until Remiel told him a few things including him being the source of punishment.

"So, he had to kill me because he helped my parent?. That's nonsense. He's just kind and helping. Why does he need to be punished for helping people?"

"No one can mess up with the lifelines, Human. He cannot create lives on his own decision."

"Then, just kill me instead. I shouldn't be here from the very beginning,right?"

"I can't. He gave you his sigil to protect you, to guard you from everyone. And, even if he didn't, I still cannot take the life of my brother's love."

"This is so complicated. I didn't ask to be in the affairs of Celestials. I didn't want to be the cause of trouble for him. He is ... He is the one I love."

"Which is why I'm here. I can't let you think he forgot you. Believe me, he's trying his best to protect you in every way. He doesn't deserve a misunderstanding. That's the reason I'm here to explain you."

Remiel had some hesitation but, the human looked nothing but helpless.

"This is not an easy thing, Human. He has to face the consequences."

"What kind of things? Can I at least do something? To help?"

"You can't. He has to convince the Father. But, that's impossible. So, he chose another way. Not so easy way. That's all I can say now."

After that encounter, he wished, he prayed. Even if he wasn't that religious, he still prayed. Just one thing. He wanted to see the love of his life again. He wanted him to be safe.

After hanging up the phone with Minho, he carefully checked all the main switch and locked the door.

"Can I get a box of Choco chips cookies?"

"Sorry we've already closed for the day-"

"...."

"Chris?"

"Hello, Lix!"

"You... You came back?"

"Of course I do, my love. Remember I told you? I will always find you."

Without saying a word, the human run into his arms. The arms he missed for so long. The warmth he's been longing for.

"I missed you. I missed you so much."

"So do I, Love. Each and every second, I've been counting to have you back in my arms."

"Now, you will stay with me, right? You will never leave me again, right? Please Chris, please don't leave me again. I - I feel so lonely. And, these years, all these years without you was a hell. I can't live without you, Chris. Please "

Rubbing gently through the soft hairs of his sobbing human, he softly kissed the forehead right where his sigil was glowing enough to let the Celestials and other creatures see it.

"I won't go away. I'm here for you."

"But, how? How did you come back? I - I heard about it. Re- Remiel told me."

"Hmm ... Seems like my baby made a new friend?"

"No, Remiel told me only because of you. But, that's not the point. How did you manage to come back? Why am I still alive?"

"Love, I will tell you everything. But, please can we go home? I can't wait to see my baby's new home"

"You knew it? You knew I moved out?"

"hmm.. I have some informers. Just to make sure you're safe and happy."

"You did spying on me?

"Hahaha, nothing personal, baby, but please can you do one more favor for me?"

"hmm.. what's this time?"

"Say my name."

"Chris ?"

"Cute. But, I want you to say my new name, my love."

"Your new name?"

Without saying a word, he leaned in and my kissed those pouty lips he was longing for and whispered to the freckled little ear.

"Lucifer....?"

"Now your soul is bind to me and me only. No one can take you away from me."
