I couldn't believe it. Here I was discovering the old book with the help of my brother and as I was close to saving him, a creepy ass doll made an appearance. I had only heard stories about Chucky and watched the movies. I never could picture myself going up against a killer doll.

"Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way." Chucky said. I backed away, inching toward the edge of the table, and Chucky took a few steps forward. Giving it a chance, I grabbed the edge of the table and flipped it causing Chucky to become distracted. I ran around him and took off out of the shed. I heard him getting angry, but instead of going toward danger, I ran for the house, pushed the door open and closed it.

"I guess chucky scared some sense into you." A voice said from behind me. Turning around, I saw the doctor and my soulless brother standing in front of me. "But really? You couldn't come up with a better option to-" Sam started, his eyes landed on the book. "You son of a bitch!"

"Back off!" I yelled and opened it. "If you don't want to die, I'd recommend you get out of the way." Suddenly, the doors behind me burst open, and I turned around to come face to face with Chucky yet again. I groaned. I had forgotten that it was going to be hard to get rid of the demonic doll. I only wished I knew how to get rid of him. Before I could do a lot of thinking, suddenly on the opposite side of me, the doctor attacked. I closed the book and dove to the right. The doctor ended up falling onto Chucky's knife and instantly dying. "So much for being immortal." I said.

"You idiot!" Chucky yelled and pulled out his blade. "That's it!" almost instantly, Sam's soul flew into the house and attacked the doll. I panicked for a second but noticed the bird was handling itself well. However, it left me alone to deal with soulless Sam. I backed away and took off, ignoring the spiderwebs and anything that was in front of me. I heard footsteps hitting the floor as if someone were chasing after me. I looked back to find my soulless brother chasing me. I cursed under my breath and held up the book, willing it to search for some sort of way to cure my brother and stop Chucky, even arrest a stupid witch like I was planning to do.

"What exactly are you going to do with that?" he said. I opened it just as my scanner looked through the entire book until it came across a spell to knock someone out.

"Sorry little brother, but once I get your soul back into you, I will destroy this book, but until then," I said and read the words off the book, green lightning flashed from the sky and struck Sam in his spot. For a split second, I worried I must have killed him, but thankfully, he was only unconscious. Now that was dealt with, I needed to stop Chucky. I slowly started making my way through the halls and walked around each corner, but the entire house was silent. Before I could even react, my scanner picked something up. I turned just in time to duck because of Chucky swinging his knife. "Great! You're the last thing I need to see." I complained.

"I've go a new game we can play," Chucky said creepily and glanced up at the bird which held Sam's soul, it didn't take me long but the minute I saw him reach into his shirt, I knew something was wrong, he removed an old locket from around his neck, it glowed brightly as it opened. My stomach dropped, and he pointed the locket at the bird. I watched helplessly as the light engulfed the bird. I yelled, willing myself to move, but by the time I could attack Chucky, he pointed the blade right back at me. "It's called hide and soul. You'll love it," the light died down and the locket disappeared. "You have until sundown to find the locket which holds your brother's soul, if you don't find it, I'll take it and take yours as well."

"You son of a bitch!"

"Oh, and one other thing," Chucky said, and the book vanished. I stumbled back, shocked, and not expecting him to do something like that.

Now I was stuck having to figure out where both the book and Sam were. I knew he was in a locket, but now I needed to find the book and Sam's soul. If I didn't, then Chucky would have mine, and that's the last thing I needed.

"You better hop to it," Chucky threatened. "Or else." not willing to find out what else he was capable of, I left the hallway and searched the entire house for the book and Sam's soul. I wished that there could have been a way for me to find it faster, even my scanner couldn't pick up on it quickly. I raced through the house until I stumbled across a room I hadn't been in before. It cracked the door open. I stepped inside and in front of me a box sat, I walked over to it and looked through it while I could. Inside I saw things like wire and rope even a few other things, suddenly, a thought occurred to me, I could use everything in the box to set off a trap if that was the case then it gave me the opportunity I had to find Sam's soul and the book.
