Every day, whenever Shu tries to sleep he will always get nightmares.
He is always scared of the dark and too scared to move in the middle of the night
He would hear knocks on the door but he'd never face it. It felt like he was being watched by something and it made him uncomfy
The knock would happen at around 2 AM, he never got enough sleep or courage to even open it
He always tried to sleep with the lights open but it would turn off after some time, he was too scared to tell anyone about this thing that was haunting him
He didin't want to pass the curse to anyone so he decided to stay quiet
Whispers would go through his mind and say, "Open the door, I'll help you"
He never believed the being who was controlling him, he never once opened the door whenever this spirit was talking to him
Shu tried to say things like "Please leave me alone" or "Go away!" but it would never listen, it's as if it wants Shu's attention
Shu tried looking up if anyone ever experienced it, fortunately it was only him experiencing this horror, he wouldn't swear this to his biggest enemy
He would hide under many blankets wanting no more of this creature, he would get the same nightmares every day
In his nightmares he'd see a chair, a hanging light bulb but noone was there. It was so eerie and scary
He couldn't move in his nightmares as if he's stuck into place
Until one day. A few words appeared in the same nightmares over and over again until he couldn't bare it anymore
It kept saying "Please open the door, free me."
After that a tall figure shows up and is sat on the chair under the barely lit bulb
"Please free me, I will stop once you free me"
Those words tempted him and he took the bait, the monster that was haunting him for so long was supposed to be behind this door
His heart was raising from fear, his shaky hands we're turning the knob slowly, so many whispers we're going through his ear
He opened the door and saw the tall figure that was haunting him
The flickering lights stopped, the whispers we're silent. He was looking over the talk figure
"Hello Shu, call me Vox."
The tall figure said, it started apologizing for haunting him for so long. He was trapped in his room and the only way he could escape was for Shu to open the door
"From now on I'll try to give you a lot of sleep, sorry for haunting you all these days. Your cute when your scared"
Shu didin't know what to feel. What was happening?! There was a supposed to be spirit standing infront of him, not to mention he was really handsome and tall
The ghost started to carry him and tucked him into bed, he also carresed Shu's forehead while doing so
"You must be very tired, please rest for as long as you want. I'll be here if you'll be needing me"
He didin't know if he just adopted a ghost to protect him or this random ghost decided to adopt him
He felt so relieved that he knew none of the things that happened before would be happening again. He would never want to experience it every again
Shu immediately fell asleep while the ghost was humming some lullaby's for Shu
