𝒮𝓊𝓃𝒹𝒶𝓎 18 𝒜𝓊ℊ𝓊𝓈𝓉𝓊𝓈 2009It was the first morning after Lalo's unexpected presence. She had no option but to accept his presence. Marco would come the next day. Lalo had given Savannah a new phone after Tuco had broken hers. At the very least, the glass. Savannah was forced to accept. She steps into the restroom, yawning. She takes a quick shower to refresh herself. The morning stung a lot after such a short night. She enters the kitchen, still fatigued. "Look at you in your uniform now," Lalo says, laughing. Savannah examines her dark green Starbucks tee."What's wrong with it?" She inquires. Lalo has his arms folded against the kitchen island and a grin on his face. "Coffee?" he inquires, lifting the coffee pot. "Yes please," she grunts. Lalo laughs. "You sit down, I'll take care of you." Savannah lifts an eyebrow once more. Lalo chuckles. "I like you! You have fire! "Exactly what Marco requires." "And Leonel" she inquires. "Leonel needs someone to push him a little harder. He turns to face Marco. That's fantastic. To be honest, he hasn't always been a positive example, and Leonel requires a leader." Savannah gives a nod. "And your mom?" Savannah quickly responds, "Forget it," to which Lalo chuckles. Savannah takes a sip of her coffee. "What on earth is this?" "Is this actual coffee?" Lalo gives a nod. "Si, Mexicana." Savannah zips more coffee. "This is good," she comments. Lalo laughs. "I thought you were going to like this. "No, but what about you, mother? I'm not going out with her. But is she seeking a new beginning, or is she still in mourning?" "I think both," Savannah says candidly. "And your brother, with all that work he can't find a girl, right?" Savannah wrinkles her brow."Come on, tell me about your brother!" The Salamanca realized he was being nosy. He had his reasons, though. "I'm not a gossip girl," she grumbles. "Perdone?" "It's something my friend and I used to say when someone asked for specifics. I'm not a gossip girl." Lalo chuckles. "That's a unique name," Lalo remarks, laughing. "Oh right," Savannah grumbles. She dashes to the enormous closet and attempts to reach the highest shelf with her fingertips. "Do you need assistance," Lalo asks, busy with breakfast. "No," she says from her living room. Lalo laughs. That lady..."Oh no," Savannah exclaims, her voice shaking. Lalo sprints into the living room. He notices her on a stool. "What are you doing?" he says, laughing. Savannah does not respond. "Yes," she replies, taking a wooden box from the cabinet. She wants to get up from the chair, but the stool wobbles, leading her to collapse. "Ah, she swears, but Lalo breaks her fall." He'd seized her and thrown her on him. She rests on his chest, surprised. "Por favor," Lalo says quietly. Savannah raises her head. "Oh my god, Lalo," she exclaims, astonished. Lalo snarls. "You are squishing my juevos Muneca." "Oh, damn sorry," Savannah says as she rises. She assists Lalo in getting up. Lalo chuckles. "It's okay, just not cute." "I'm sorry," she apologizes. Lalo beams. "Thank you for the rescue," Savannah mumbles. "What was so important that you felt compelled to imitate Tarzan?" Savannah takes a glance at him. She takes the box and returns to her coffee. Lalo examines the shoebox with interest. She has a spare key, which she provides to Lalo. "All that work for that," he scoffs. Savannah responds "No" and takes two twenty-dollar from the box." "Ai chihuahua, is that your last money?" Savannah takes a glance at him. "No," she responds swiftly. Lalo sighs and rolls his eyes. Savannah lifts a gold name tag. Her name was spelled out in silver curls. "Wow," he exclaims. "Hayden gave it to me," she says as she puts it on her shirt. She prepares to go after Lalo has cooked her scrumptious Huevos rancheros. Lalo gives a kind smile. "Where to?" he inquires. "It's a ten-minute walk, Lalo. I can do it." "Isn't that what you said that famous night" he says with a laugh. Savannah swallows. She knows he's correct. "Come on," Lalo says as he walks outside. "Will you join me for the walk?" "Crazy," he chuckles, pointing to a stunning green 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo. "Wow," Savannah exclaims. "Do you like it?" "Yes," she says, laughing. Lalo smiles and enters the car. He leaves her at the entrance and waits for her to enter. Then he continues driving. Savannah is going about her first day as instructed. She enters the establishment by opening the shutters. She turns on all the lights, begins cleaning, and activates the coffee maker. Then she must wait for the first customer, who will arrive shortly. A couple of officers welcome her and generously tip her for her coffee. Then it's silent till eight o'clock. When the school begins. Savannah does not consider this to be a dull job. She is alone, but that is well. It's more enjoyable than the restaurant. That is for certain! When she is cleaning the coffee machine in the early afternoon, she hears a customer walk in. "I'll be right there." "Say your order and name already," Savannah adds as she closes the machine.
"Tsk you have to ask my name, I thought we were closer." Savannah raises her head. "Hayden," she whispers relieved, leaping across the counter to embrace him. Hayden smiles and wraps his arms around her. "How are you" He inquires. "Okay, it's a nice job," she says. "And easy." "Oh, yes? Also, with clients like me?!" Savannah chuckles. "What do you want?" "A mocha laté." Savannah laughs and says, "Seriously?" Hayden smiles. "I'm waiting," he adds as he takes a seat at a table. It doesn't take long for him to have a cup with his name and three hearts in his palm. They laugh and speak as they sit at a table together. Hayden chuckles as she wipes the froth off his mustache. "I was terrified you'd be enraged," he replies. Savannah sighs. "You are and always will be my brother and best friend," she replies, as Hayden grins. "Do you promise not to say anything to Mom" he asks. Savannah sighs and shakes her head. "I just think Hank is on to you." "Do you think?" Hayden chuckles. Savannah pushes her tongue out. "Hey I have to go, call me if anything is wrong" he says. Savannah gives a nod. She gently polishes the kitchen counter, waiting for the day to end. Marco would arrive the next day... Finally, Lalo arrived that evening to pick her up and drop her out as promised. He'd be right back. He needed to grab something. Savannah was strictly forbidden from opening the door to anyone. Savannah, of course, did. She didn't want anyone in the house.
Until a bell tolls. On the camera screen, she sees no one. Savannah sighs and shakes her head. "Hello?" she says as she picks up the intercom. "Marco" sounds in a gentle tone. Savannah beams. "You idiot, you scared me," she chuckles as she opens the door. She dashes to the bathroom mirror. Fortunately, she had already washed and dressed in a black gown. She examines her hair, which she has braided in one long braid, and walks to the door. She takes the lock off the door. Lalo advised not to unlock. However, Marco... That can't harm, can it? She notices the elevator pinging. Her heart is pounding in her chest. She sits on a chair at the kitchen table with a cup of tea to avoid appearing forlorn, reading a magazine. A strong knock is heard on the door. "Open," she yells, trembling. She glances up, overjoyed to see him till...Her mouth widens.
"Victor," she mumbles. Victor enters with a smile. He locks the door behind him. "Victor?" Savannah inquires, stepping from her chair. "You look lovely," he mocks. "Too bad that uh... Marco isn't here yet." "You bastard," she snarls. Victor chuckles heartily. "You have a coarse mouth for such a beautiful doll," he says in jest. "I'm not a doll," she says, taking a step back until her back is against the wall. Lalo, where are you when you need him? Victor chuckles and approaches her. "For the time being, you're my doll," he says softly, rubbing her jaw. "Say Papi," he says in husky tones. "Ew," Savannah says quietly. Victor chuckles. He wraps his arms around her and leans against her chest. He sniffs her neck. "Please don't do it, Victor," she pleads. "Shh," he says quietly as he pulls a syringe from his pocket. He inserts a needle into her neck. "Victor," she says softly. Savannah feels the liquid surge through her veins, leaving her limp and unmoving. Victor beams. He kisses the back of her neck. "Soon," he says quietly. "Victor," she mumbles again before passing out.
Savannah yawns and blinks open her eyes. She sighs and shuts her eyes again. The light is very bright. "Lalo?" she says hesitantly. There was no reaction. She opens her eyes and blinks. She is in a room with white paneled walls, ceiling, and floor. Only lighting, a camera, and a heavy security door are present. She is sitting on the floor, her back against an iron rod, her hands bound. "What the hell?" She inquires. "Victor," she spits fiercely. She frantically attempts to flee. When the door makes a noise, she glances up tensely. Victor enters the room with a smile on his face. "Hey doll," he mockingly remarks. "What the fuck, Victor," she growls, and he chuckles again. Victor kneels beside her. He controls her restraints. Savannah moves her gaze away from him. "The camera is turned off," he says amusingly. "And," she continues, her voice shaking. "I'm the only one in the whole building, the camera's off ... looks like we can see why this Salamanca likes you so much." "Victor, don't think about it," she begs, but Victor ignores her. He lays his hand on her breast and kisses her neck. He rubs her nipple and slips his other hand beneath her gown. "Victor, please stop," she pleads. "Go ahead, we're alone. Scream. The camera is turned off, and the door is shut. Someone will not arrive for another four hours. That's four hours of entertainment with you. That's why I enjoy working nights," he explains. Savannah swallows. Night? Was it night? Oh, Lalo, she hopes he finds her soon. Victor thrusts two fingers into her, jerking them back and forth. Meanwhile, he licks her neck and plays with her nipple. Savannah chews her lower lip to keep the tears at bay. This is the second time a little Mexican has molested her. "Really? "Not even a peep," he laughs as he opens his pants. "Then the difficult way," he adds as he pushes himself into her. "Victor," she sobs. But this only makes him more excited. "Say Papi," he grumbles. "Say it or I won't stop." Savannah swallows. To gratify him, she murmurs "Papi" with a faint groan. Victor smiles as he pushes himself deeper within her.Lalo pushes open the ajar door. "Savannah?" he inquires, taking his firearm. He enters. A kitchen chair has been flipped over. The kitchen table is littered with thee and a magazine. This is untrue. "Savannah!" he screams as he walks into her room. "Maldita sea."
